Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Nice location, with lots to do locally.
Disliked Drove in then back out, reception is not clearly marked so thought I was in the wrong place. Its a free for all basically pitch where you want, I had someone pitch next to me that the were actually touching my van at times. Toilets and showers are dated, dirty and not fit for purpose. The noise on site is unbearable from screeching adults to screaming kids and boom boxes dont expect to get much sleep as no curfew.

Disliked We arrived under the assumption that the shower blocks and toilets where actually on site which was on the description but actually mainly the showers you actually have to walk off site to get to. It’s very hilly so although the field is big, everyone was sticking to the edges so you weren’t rolling down the hill in the night which meant there wasn’t many flat spaces. But the biggest issue was other very loud campers which ended up with police coming in middle of the night for the ones next to us.. and even banging on our van at 1am with cameras (filming police programme) !
We only ended up staying one night and then left.. after explaining why we weren’t staying longer there was no apology and to refund offer for the remaining night.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great few days away, friendly welcome & chilled stay. We were a little worried about the facilities after reading the reviews but they were fine. Our tent field was not very busy and no noisy groups. The number 12 Llandudno- Rhyl bus stops at the end of the road every 10mins or so which made it easy for getting around.

Liked The campsite is in a beatiful landscape.
Disliked Toilets, showers…. are absolutely terrible.
If you don’t have your own bathroom in your camper or caravan, try to avoid this campsite.!
