Liked Absolutely liked everything the park was peaceful, back with nature, lovely walk down near the stream. The park was spotless, amenities included

Disliked Love that the shower lights go out to save on electrics but it went off when I was in there could be dangerous

Gravel on walkways is not child friendly at the bottom of the hill near the toilets, not for adults uneasy on their feet

Liked Clean & tidy site with plenty of room, close to the river Lug

Disliked Washer missing off water tap, so leaked.
Would have liked a bit more discipline on the control of lighting at night, as this is advertised as a dark sky environment.
Staff were friendly when you saw them.

We are sorry to hear that there was a washer missing off you tap, please always let us know if reception and we can sort this for you. We are slightly confused as to the dislike of the staff being friendly when you saw them.

Liked Quiet, well laid out, helpful, great facilities, generous pitches.
Excellent toilets and showers, warm and water a lovely temperature.
Nice to have lots of information leaflets on local area and walks in the area.
A very good site!

Disliked Very minor but showers are push button.
The observatory was difficult to see out of - could have done with a clean.

Liked Great laundry and washing up room, decent toilet and shower facilities and a wonderfully well kept campsite. Neat, tidy and a lot of hard work clearly put in by landscape team. Lovely pair in the reception too, chatty, bright and welcoming. Having an EHU down by the pleasant stream at the bottom of the sight complimented the peaceful location perfectly.

Disliked Jacuzzi for that bougie dark sky viewing experience!

In all seriousness there’s nothing to be improved. Really great site.

Liked You receive a warm welcome from the staff when you arrive, with a very comprehensive welcome pack with lots of local knowledge and points of interest. The grass pitch was plenty big enough for my 3 man tunnel tent, there was even a picnic bench which came in very handy when packing up as it had rained overnight so I was able to keep my kit off the grass and dry. Toilet and shower block was exceptionally clean, with a free to use hairdryer and shaving point. This is a well maintained and thoughtful camp site. There's a washing machine and dryer as well as a dog washing station if you take your furry friend. Excellent location just a short walk away from town, I really enjoyed the walk from the site through the woods and then the nature trail into town.

Disliked Not a lot of choice of basic provisions at reception. I was thirsty after the ride to the campsite and just needed a bottle of water which wasnt an option available so had to unpack and then go back into town. The site is surrounded by fields full of sheep and cows who during the night can get quite vocal so take earplugs if like me you're a light sleeper.
