Ik was blij met Lovely location with walks into Presteigne. Quite, rural and the river was a hot with our son who would have played there all day. The staff were helpful and friendly at all times.

Ik was blij met Lovely site pitches are a great site, nice and peaceful and on a clear night the sky is amazing

Ik was blij met Really excellent facilities, all kept very clean. Nice friendly welcome and information leaflet about site and local area. Beautiful unspoilt area. Wifi on site which was a real bonus.

Ik was niet blij met With the benefit of hindsight I would have selected a hard standing pitch as I visited in school holidays (single traveller in campervan) and the grass pitch area was mainly occupied by families, which was fine but not as peaceful as some other areas of the site. I was attracted by the idea of riverside camping. There is actually a low fence between the pitches and the river and a 'riverside walk' which is accessed further up the site, which wasn't what I was expecting although I can see why that's been done.

Ik was blij met Very nice site, with big pitche, clean facilities and friendly staff. Lovely positioned near a river and with direct access to it, great for relaxing holidays and very dog friendly. Our dog loved the enclosed dog field , and he was even welcomed with a tennis ball as a gift at Check in😍 Dogs even have their own shower and shampoo if needed. Facilities were very nice. toilets and showers were clean, nice dishwashing area, a few books, magazines and games available to borrow too. And of course the cherry on top and the main reason we wanted to see this campsite, the amazing sky full of stars (never seen so many and so beautiful to be fair) and their observatory with the telescope. Really nice touch 👌 There is no shop on site (they sell some ice cream though), so if you forget something at home your only choice is walking 30 min to Preisteigne or drive there if you can.

Ik was niet blij met The bright lights near the observatory which obstructed the much expected views. We have still enjoyed the stars from the pitch but with the telescope not a lot of luck (the EV charger next to the dome was making so much light and was reflecting too much directly on it) . The cozy area created there is amazing and definitely a nice touch but would be even better in a darker area of the campsite 😁

They have been incredible. Here at Rockbridge we like to make sure everyone is included when staying with us (even the dogs). We have started a small shop onsite with non perishable items but we are always open to suggestions if there is something you think would be great. You never know what we may have next year.

Ik was niet blij met Disconnecting my WiFi connection before checkout time of 11 am after a four-night stay was a surprise and disappointing! Especially as the internet would have been useful arranging onward travel and accommodation plans! 😔

Ik was blij met This is the best campsite I have ever been to. It’s quiet, very clean and reception staff were polite, helpful, knowledgeable of the area and just amazing! Ice cream only at reception, there were no onsite shop which actually was ok and unique. If you drive less then 2 miles there’s a little shop with your essentials. There was always hot water for the showers, the shower cubicles weren’t wash rooms like other campsites they were actual glass cubicles so that when you came out within you room you had a dry area to stand with seat and handwash basin which for us was amazing! We were pitched by the river which was calming especially late evening and early morning hearing the trickling of water.
Plenty of walks around for my lab and boys loved going in river to play when we had the heat wave. Very refreshing!
For the first time we felt safe to leave camping chairs outside overnight and days out as did other fellow campers.
We were there when the eclipse and comets and the shooting stars was an amazing spectacle.
