Liked: Large hard standing pitch.
Clean shower and toilet block.
Friendly reception staff and facilities.
Good location, close to town centre.
Riverside location.

Disliked: Only a limited number of pitches for Campervans.

Due to recent development on the park we are unable to offer additional touring pitches and with the touring pitches, touring pitches with hot tubs and the rental accommodation it is felt that we offer a suitable mix that can cater for everyone.

We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay! We wish the bar could be open longer too, but we are fortunate enough to be really close to the town centre where there is a good variation of pubs and bars etc.

Liked: Hot tub

Disliked: Overall state of site. Wooden pitch suround rotten,required replacing showers required re grouting. The rules where not adhered to .1/noise music playing after 11pm 2/dog fouling not picked up, 3/ one way system not adhered to.4/ ash bucket was full when we arrived .generally it looks tired .this is early in the season. Things should have been sorted before opening up

Liked: The area is amazing the hot tub was fantastic the lodge was clean and tidy.

Liked: Good. Nice site and location.

Disliked: Broken urinal drain. If I had more time I'd have fixed it myself.

Liked: Friendly staff, great showers, clean warm shower & toilet block and dish-washing area. Small, peaceful site. Adjacent park great for dog-walking. Would definitely go again.

Disliked: If I had to find something to dislike, it would be that the high hedges kept the evening sun off us - though, on the plus side, we had sun in the morning!

Liked: Friendly welcome on arrival, pitch level and easy set up with own water pipe.
Great walks nearby and shops/cafes in walking distance. Great wee bar on site although more outdoor seating required.

The peace and quiet
It's only a 2 minute drive from the shops
Plenty of places to walk the dogs
Friendly staff

Disliked: Only thing i disliked was Having to keep dogs on a leash at all times

We ask that all pet owners keep their pets on a leash while on the park out of respect for those guests who don't have pets and perhaps have allergies or phobias. As you no doubt experienced, there is a large public field right next door to the park where dogs can run freely.

Liked: It was very good spot very quiet and a very good pitch staff are very friendly and helpful

Disliked: Just am not a big drinker but I would have liked to have a drink at night but the bar was only open in the afternoon
