This is a family-friendly campsite praised for its friendly owners, spacious pitches, and beautiful countryside views. Guests enjoy the on-site cafe, play barn, and farm animals. While the site is developing, some visitors noted limited shower and toilet facilities, particularly during busy periods. Plans to add more showers are in place.

This was a return trip for…
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This was a return trip for us and it was just as enjoyable if not more enjoyable than our first visit last year (thanks to the beautiful weather). We welcomed that the rates for campers at the stay and play were reduced although the children just loved running round the campsite too.
The owners really do make this place they are so welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you. This is still a new campsite and we are looking forward to seeing the changes made on our next visit.
Yes there are only two showers as other reviews have mentioned, there may be a bit of a queue on busy weekends but they are so unique and worth the wait.

Beautiful place to go with the…
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful place to go with the kids. Lots of roaming place for them. We also had a walk around trying to find a brooke nearby. My daughter loved petting the goats but as an animal lover she was hoping they’ll be out of their enclosure for some time.
This was our second stay and we will definitely be coming back again.
I liked that there is a discounted rate for the children’s area, which makes things a bit more accessible.
The hosts are really friendly and helpful, and remembering us from last year felt really nice.
Disliked Not a dislike but maybe a feedback to rethink the showers to make use of the space in a more efficient way. The current ones look nice and rustic but are not the best as there. Also, there is water on the floor all the time. I know this is an ongoing thing and the owners even said it’s a pain for them as well as they need fixing often. I’m sure that next time when we’ll be there this would’ve been fixed already.
Also, my daughter asked for more animals in the stalls next to the goats if possible.

From the manager: It was lovely to see you again. The goats certainly are popular, the rest of the young cattle are out in the fields at this time of the year.
The showers are large so that they are family friendly, meaning you can all get in there. Unfortunately the showers can leak, something we are certainly trying to sort.

Liked Amazing campsite! Everything was clean, tidy, and very well maintained, with beautiful views all around. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The kids had non-stop fun and loved being able to run around freely and enjoy the outdoors. The toilets and showers were very modern and much nicer than you often find at campsites.
The cafe was fantastic too, serving great food, and the cakes were absolutely delicious! Overall, a wonderful family-friendly campsite that we can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended!
