Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely big pitches with everything you need. Peaceful and laid back vibe. Easy access to all the big Dorset attractions.
Disliked Ideally the showers need to be separated as we don't think everybody will be comfortable with the communal changing area.

A lovely, affordable stay back to natural in a peaceful setting.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The natural landscape, excellent prices, friendly staff. The facilities were clean and look after. Great site and visit in general.
Disliked The showers were very small and too communal for my liking. We were unfortunate to have some inconsiderate families very close to us but can’t blame the site for that.

Liked Second visit to Luckford Wood. First time we stayed as a couple, this visit was as a family with children aged 9, 13 and 15.
Facilities lovely and clean, very generous pitch sizes.
On arrival we met the owner and it was a very relaxed welcome. We were travelling in two vehicles and although we didn’t arrive at the same time this was not an issue at all.
Lots of space for the kids to run about, play games and not be in anyone else’s space.
We will definitely be back.
No Wi-Fi….thank you!! Time away should be spent with each other and not streaming random rubbish.
We will keep our fingers crossed that the pizza truck that was there on our first visit, will be there next time.
Thank you all at Luckford Wood :)

Overall we enjoyed our stay. And would stay again.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Peaceful campsite.
Lots of good pitches.
Very fairly priced.
Good washing up facilities.
Good toilet facilities cleaned daily. (Mop and bucket to use in shower)
Disliked Entry road is bumpy.
Toilet floor and showers could be cleaner. (Lots of bits of toilet tissue, if people cleaned up after themselves it would be ok)
Showers are small.
Some of the posts for EHU points were unstable. (One fell overnight but was fixed in the morning)
Lots of wasps.(Obviously not the campsites fault but bring repellent or trap)
