Loved it and will hopefully return before the end of this season.
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch
Liked A gorgeous small and quiet site with a friendly and helpful host Gemma not to mention the 3 cheeky goats greeting you on arrival! Field on a slope not a problem at all with plenty of space to set up as no assigned pitches. Brand new toilet (3) and a shower which were kept spotless throughout my stay. Only had a couple of nights but will return as so much countryside to walk!

Liked Very amenable and hospitable host.
Toilets and showers are very well maintained and clean.
Being away from main roads means the site is very quiet and there is a very good pub only a short walk away.

Electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Gemma was lovely, she came over to say hi when we got there. She sent over recommendations we asked for and went above and beyond. Her goats are awesome and super friendly. Very entertaining to spend time with them too. We even purchased some lovely eggs from her chickens.
I don’t usually enjoy camping but I would return here. Weather was also lovely so made the whole experience more enjoyable.

Had a lovely 1 night stay…
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Had a lovely 1 night stay to take our dog on her first camping trip before going away for a week. The weather was awful and we had the option to reschedule but we braved the wind and had a great evening at this brilliant little campsite. We did a couple of nice walks and enjoyed an evening sat out in a very peaceful area. We are very local so will definitely look at staying here again!

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review! We’re really glad you decided to brave the weather and still managed to enjoy your stay. It’s great to hear your dog’s first camping trip was a success and that you found the site peaceful despite the wind. Looking forward to welcoming you all back hopefully when the sun makes an appearance
I had a lovely overnight stay…
Non-electric grass and earth tent or motorhome pitch
Liked I had a lovely overnight stay with my children, while the weather wasn't fantastic it didn't stop us enjoying our time, the children loved the goats and they even had the chance this morning to help feed them, check for eggs and meet the sheep. Lovely views and walks around the area. A short walk to the village shop, recreation ground and pu. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, couldn't do anything more for you. Toilet and shower facilities are great. The fact you can have a fire pit and they can be provided if you don't have one ( or forget to pack it ) like we did is great. Also the unexpected visit of deer in the evening was lovely. We will definitely be returning, such a little gem of a site.

From the manager: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re really glad you and the children enjoyed your stay, even with the not‑so‑perfect weather. It was a pleasure having you all here, and the animals definitely enjoyed the extra attention especially at feeding time. We’re lucky to have such beautiful views and wildlife around us, so I’m thrilled you got to see the deer as well.
I’m also really pleased you found the facilities comfortable and enjoyed using the fire pit — it’s one of our favourite parts of camping too.
we’d love to welcome you back again soon. Thank you for supporting our little pop‑up site.
