What customers say
Quiet, clean, and friendly site with great facilities. Hosts (Gemma!) and farm animals are highlights. Lovely countryside, walks, pubs, and shops nearby. Some sloped pitches, but plenty of flat ones. Minor note on washing-up hot water.

Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Had a great stay here, friendly relaxed atmosphere, really great loos and shower, exceptional value for money, fantastic customer service, just an all round very nice time. Nice walks near by, with some great views, the friendly goats and sheep were really lovely. We will definitely come again.
Also, on a clear night with no moon the stars were unbelievable.
If I really had to say anything negative, it would be that some of the site is on a bit of a slope.
But this was made clear before booking, and there was more than enough flat areas when we went, it would really only be an issue if it was really really busy.

Well worth a stay. Lovely area.
Primitive grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely little field, very welcoming owner, great new clean shower and toilet block. Watched rabbits, hares playing, and a deer on the far paddock. Oh and the stars! Because of the orientation there was very little ambient light, haven’t seen the milky way for years!
Disliked Minor point: Could do with a little shelf in the shower block to put your bits on.

Overal the trip was enjoyed by ourself and kids through owner kindness

Liked Owner is very kind and helpful to us. We went for one night only but still the owner supported a lot during late arrival and as well as during the stay. She is very helpful since for us it is the first time we booked pitch with electric outlet.

Liked Great location! Gemma, the owner, was very nice and made me feel right at home.
She was very accommodating of late arrival and kept me a bag of logs (+fire starter kit) and one of the many fire pits.
The toilet/shower were very clean and surprisingly nice which was a huge plus.
Will definitely be returning when I am back in that neck of the woods.
Disliked Pitch is on a slope so just be aware

Powered grass and earth tent or RV campsite
Liked Spacious site with nice views. As the only guest I had a great human free night away with my dog. Site on a gentle slope but didn't cause me any problems and when I walked around the perimeter with my dog there were plenty of more flat spaces. Very quiet and peaceful and exactly what I needed. Loved hearing the goats on the other side of the hedge. Toilets & shower very clean. I will definitely return. Thank you
