Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Chris the owner, he was so friendly and welcoming which didn’t stop there! Throughout our stay Chris popped by the pitch asking how things were and giving great advise on where to go & what to see also letting our children help bottle feed the lambs which was an amazing experience by itself, the whole site is very relaxing, clean and has been though out to give everyone a more than ample pitch, you could happily spend the entire time on site without the little ones saying I’m bored.
Toilets clean, showers clean, washing up area clean…. All these kept in amazing condition, I can’t stress enough how nice Chris was and the homely feeling he and the family run site gives you! We have to say this is the best campsite we’ve stayed at!
We’ll 100% be back
Thank you so much for not only great ideas but for the warm welcome and interactions.

Non-electric grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked We had an absolutely brilliant escape at this wonderful campsite! Nestled in the lush green countryside, the site is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to unwind. The facilities were first-rate; spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with pride.
The owner was a delight — warm, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. It really made the stay feel personal and relaxed.
We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whether you’re after a quiet retreat or just a change of scenery, this campsite is a gem. Thoroughly recommended!

Wonderful campsite with great owners
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful setting, small and friendly site perfect for our young family, great facilities and a lovely park area for children.
This is our second year coming to the campsite and we will be back again, our children loved seeing the lambs being fed in the field next door, the new facilities are brilliant, having a fridge to store some milk etc was perfect and the extra toilets and shower were really handy.
The site is always beautifully clean and well kept, each pitch is well spaced and with plenty of room for your tent and all your camping equipment.
The option to hire a fire pit and buy wood is also a nice touch, especially with children who like to roast some marshmallows.
I would highly recommend this site to anyone who likes a small, friendly and close to nature experience.
Excellent little site, fabulous for kids and clean facilities
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Tidy, intimate site, lovely little park and 'beach' at the stream, great for kids, we got to watch the lambs being fed, clean toilets and shower, a gazebo with games for if it rains, friendly and attentive owner who met us at the gate and checked on us during our stay.
Disliked Nothing, it really was a lovely little site!

Non-electric grass and gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Campsite was peaceful and spacious
Hosts were brilliant - really warm and friendly and went out of their way to check everything was ok and ensure a lovely stay.
Facilities were clean and worked well - never an issue with hot water!!
Well maintained sight, lovely big pitches and creatively divided space with so much greenery and additional open space.
Small children’s play area and access to the river - everything felt well cared for.
Really reasonable price.
We had the bonus of lambs in the adjoining field, which the hosts were bottle feeding twice a day, and encouraged the children to join in with. For our 4 and 6 year old this was such an enjoyable extra!
We were staying to attend a wedding and had everything we needed, but the host offered use of their own home if we wanted a bit more space or electric to get ready.
Excellent facilities, hosts. Can't recommend this site enough.
