Syntes om Great facilities, amazing for kids and super friendly. Our two boys went to feed the pigs and sheep on Saturday morning and had football to play as well as the play park and river. Plus free WiFi across the site! Will definitely be back.

Syntes om Really lovely, welcoming and peaceful camp site. The pitches are set out in a well thought out, beautiful and cared for setting, and the choice to be located in a section with no cars was fantastic for the children. Facilities were good and adequate for our needs. The owner was welcoming and happy to offer up some local tips for places to go and see which made a difference. We would definitely recommend this as a base for a camping trip for visiting local places as it's so lovely to come back to at the end of the day. Will be booking again soon.

Syntes om Beautiful campsite with lovely and very friendly owners. Kids were able to feed the sheep. Safe for the kids to be free to run around and play, with a little play area, football and tennis area. Campfire and wood available, as well as fresh eggs.

The owners gave great advice on travel routes. With a stream running behind, this place is a little piece of heaven, off the beaten track, making it so peaceful. You can just sit and listen to the birds and the stream.

You can choose where to camp, so can be next to your car, or in the car free area, which is what we did. This made it feel more safe for the kids to play, so we could completely relax.

Syntes om We have just returned from a lovely bank holiday weekend at south ford campsite and will definitely return in the future.

The facilities are good and kept nice and clean. Plenty available for the amount of pitches on site.

The pitches available are what really makes the campsite better than many we have stayed in previously, each pitch is marked out for you, the pitches are generous is size and you don’t feel like you are stuck right next to the next camper. Lots of shade available in many of the pitches and you are able to go around to pick which one suits you upon arrival.

Lovely play park for the children in the centre of the camp along with a goal and tennis net. We had a 8 year old and 4 year old with us and they both found plenty to do and made lots of friends on the campsite.

The little beach was a nice spot for the kids to have a paddle and stay out of the sun, our 8 year old loved exploring the trees around it.

The camp owners are so kind and helpful with lots of in-site on the local area and seemed genuinely happy to chat and give advice on what to do. Always seemed available around the site if needed.

You can rent fire pits and buy wood at very reasonable prices along with eggs. There is also a fridge, freezer and place to charge things onsite.

The children also loved seeing the sheep and pigs onsite. A lovely added element to the campsite.

Value for money was also amazing. It was the cheapest one we found when looking and seemed much better than the other options!

Syntes ikke om The only dislike we had was the large pond onsite, only because of the open water element around children. It is roped off with signs but you definitely do need to be mindful of it with young children as it is close to the park.

Syntes om Perfect for the kids. They can roam around, play in the playground or the next to the river, or see the sheep or pigs. It is small enough that the kids will make friends easily as well.

Syntes om Everything! Great loos, showers, washing up area, good size pitches, lovely setting, amazing wildlife, good location, fantastic hosts!
