General

  • Three specimen carp lakes on site
  • On 70 acres of landscaped parkland close to Exmoor
  • Play area, shop and country club

If a caravan park has 'Riverside' in its name, you might reckon you might get some fishing. And you'd be right: South Molton's Riverside Caravan and Camping Park has three specimen lakes stocked with quality carp, and more angling (and paddling) can be availed of at the nearby River Mole.

The site sits on 70 acres of landscaped parkland with ten acres of mature woodland running alongside the River Mole: as you might also reckon, it's all mighty pretty.

Riverside is a family-friendly park and has a play area and an on-site shop. A new country club was added in 2017, with a bar and restaurant, serving homemade food and a selection of local lagers, ciders and ales. It's a popular venue for the variety of entertainment on site, or for settling down for a quiet time during the day to use the free wifi.

Please note

Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Occasional on-site events are taking place each month to celebrate the tenth year in business. Events will include live music and entertainment.

Caravan was Clean and adequate for our needs. Owners and staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble and the clubhouse was fantastic. Well priced bar and food and they had some entertainment booked but we didn't see it because we went mid week and left on the Friday although they had bingo on a Tuesday and Thursday which was a good bit of fun. Shop stock was adequate for our needs until we could get to a store. All in all a great holiday except we couldn't book the weather... it rained all the time...
