Liked Nice quiet site. Sea view from pitches. 10 minute walk to the beach. Free access to WiFi at pitches.

Disliked Site isn’t very flat in areas.

Liked Great location. Very close to the beach. Able to pitch where you want with no fixed pitch boundaries. Food available on the weekend. Very close to a CoOp around the corner.

Disliked Not enough toilet and shower facilities for the size of the campsite. There was only a single block for 4 fields of camping. Men had only 2 toilets and 2 showers and a urinal. There were 2 "overflow" toilets in a separate 'out house' for both men and women. The showers were very old. One with a blocked drain so stood in dirty water, and the other had a very smelly drain.
No activities for kids. No climbing frame or anything like that.

Liked Beautiful location, very close to Praa Sands beach. Great for dog owners and lots of space for kids to run around. We had a brilliant stay ( 3 nights) and will definitely come back !! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Best thing about this place apart from the above I’ve mentioned, is the freedom to pitch up where you like on the fields, and camp fires and barbecues are allowed too as long as they are safe. No stickler staff checking up on you constantly-they just leave you to enjoy the beautiful area in peace and are very welcoming on arrival. We will be returning for sure! I’ve been camping a lot to other places and this is by far the best campsite, very well priced where you can just totally relax. Down at the beach ( 5mins walk down the rd), there’s an amazing beach bar, food is very tasty, next door to this is The Welloe where again, the food is lovely, must try the pizzas, all great staff in both places. There’s a wetsuit/ bodyboard hire place, accessible toilets and a beautiful stretch of beach - fantastic for everyone and dog friendly. Just left today and already planning our next trip back, thank you for making our first trip to Cornwall so pleasant. Best field to stay in is one closest to facilities , but get there early if you can.

Disliked Toilets could have perhaps better facilities and an update in showers but that’s it and to be honest it’s pretty minor considering you’ve got everything else with the scenery and location and is just mainly cosmetic. The utility room is great, fast washing machine cycles and a hot dryer to dry off clothes at a reasonable price- bring coins! Little honesty shop in sure where you can get a couple of basics like washing liquid.

Liked Great location, walking distance from beach and local pubs/restaurant. Chilled out environment, lots of space to pitch and guarantee privacy. Good price!

Disliked Bathroom/shower facilities could be improved, however they work. For men, the fact that there are only two showers leads to queues sometimes. There is not really a reception, so for someone it might be not very clear where to go/what to do in case they need anything, especially early in the morning/late in the evening. Mobile charging station does not work.

Liked We've just returned from a lovely week's holiday in Cornwall. We stayed at Higher Pentreath Farm Camp Site and had a great time.

The site is lovely and quiet, with plenty of space. We stayed in Henry's Field and enjoyed the stunning views over the bay at Praa Sands beach.

The owners have thought of everything and have included lots of little touches including the plaques with wide games.

They had motivational quotes in the ladies and the facilities in general were clean and tidy, well equipped and well maintained.

My partner and I have both said that this is a new favorite camp site and we will be back!

Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

From the manager: Hi Victoria, I'm really sorry to hear this and wish you had come in and told us when you were here, we could have come straight out and gone through them again, and with the amount of people on site that have been more than pleased with the facilities, i can only imagine you unfortunately used hem after others were in them and got them to this point. However as ever i have used your feedback and gone back to who cleans the showers and toilets and reiterated what needs to be done etc. I was also camping over the weekend , on site and i found them to smell clean and fresh but did see areas for improvement. I have fed this all back.
Regarding not being able to charge your phone, I'm not sure why, we have on site facilities for this, located in the laundry room with full instructions on how to use them.

Liked Great site, loads of space, clean WC and Showers and the price was more than fair, would stay again

Liked A great location with incredible views. A short walk to an amazing beach that thankfully is under advertised. A great hub to drive to other locations if wanted

Disliked Facilities were limited on the male side so when it got busy the male areas became a bit of a state and not cleaned as often as they could have been.
We stayed for 4 nights. 3 nights were really nice with clear skys amazing for star gazing and misty mornings that felt some how fresh and airy. on our second night a family arrived and set up camp within 1 or 2 meters from us (not a huge problem) until the music and drinking started (also not a huge issue) we are all there to have a good time however this contued right through the night, screaming and shouting until 8am the next morning. Once the shouting stopped they started fighting between themselves and smashing each other's belongings up(even tried to burn one of their tents down with the coal off the bbq.. once it all stopped and one left of his own accord the owner of the site arrived to say they had had a complaint. But as the main culprit had left he would give the other the benefit of the doubt and let them stay. ( luckily they took it upon themselves to leave) the owners were apologetic but lacked any real empathy more if a oh well it happens. It probably does happen and we appreciate you cany do a check on every person booking a spot but we drove 6 hours to get there and lost 1 of the nights with no offer of a extra night to compensate.

Liked Location was lovely. Beach only a couple of minutes drive. Nice views.

Disliked Showers aren’t very clean.

Toilet waste and grey waste is emptied into a toilet.

While there a group of campers came next to us, and we’re up all night drunk and arguing. & the next morning got into a physical fight with each other in front of children. Owners came to say that one of the guys couldn’t come back but we feel this should have been addressed the night before.
