What customers say
This campground boasts stunning ocean views and a tranquil vibe, with many guests loving its closeness to Praa Sands beach. Facilities are usually clean and well-kept, though some find them basic or a bit old. Most enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and spaciousness, but several mentioned the shortage of men's restrooms and showers. Some noted the fields are sloped, which is common here.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Liked flexibility to choose where we camped; loved the view and enjoyed the live entertainment on Friday evening.
Disliked Didn’t dislike anything, would suggest possibly putting up a sign informing campers of food van scheduled arrival and live entertainment. Lots of ladies toilets and showers but hot/ cold water fluctuated.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Really good campsite. Would definitely stay again. The sea view was amazing. And the showers good. And the added burger van on site was a lovely treat.
Disliked Signal/wifi connection was poor. But that was literally the only thing.

love this site and location
Primitive grass campsite
Liked love the location easy walk to the beach (albeit a bit of a hill). Fields on a slope so you need chocs. Hot powerful showers, toilets clean. laid back feel and quiet. Arrival of bacon bap van on an august weekend was a lovely added bonus, as was the live entertainment early evening.
Disliked nothing

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Flat pitches, lots of room, some entertainment which was a bonus, nice views, great location, short walk down to the lovely beach.
Disliked Showers...not enough and a bit scruffy for the size of site, was pretty quiet luckily.
Maybe the check in could be a bit more friendly.... "Press bell and wait here...do not approach the bungalow" sign made us giggle a little but hey ho.

Budget amenities for an expensive price
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The views and location. Super convenient for going into Penzance.
The washing up area was nice and clean and there was a good amount of sinks. With a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer for you to use.
Disliked None of the fields are flat so if you’re in a tent that’s fun.
The toilet block was dirty and outdated.
The showers would go from freezing cold to absolutely scalding hot every few seconds. I physically couldn’t wash my hair under the hot water as it was burning my scalp. None of our party could get them to a consistent temperature and we tried a few different showers.

Its a wonderful place to stay and we will be back.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The site has beautiful views and is very close to Praa sands beach! Its a (mostly) peaceful and other campers are respectful of others.
Disliked Bathroom/shower is never clean even immediately after its been cleaned. The floors in the showers are very dirty with large areas of mould and the walls of the showers are very very dirty. (You see the same hair and dirt every day) the gentleman who cleaned it while I was there only replaced the tissue and wiped the sinks and sometimes cleared the water gathering in the centre of the floor. The showers were not done at all.
