What customers say

Trevella Holiday Park offers a well-maintained and clean site with friendly, helpful staff. It's praised for its good location, suitable for families and exploring Newquay and nearby beaches. Facilities, including showers, toilets, and laundry rooms, are generally well-regarded for cleanliness. On-site amenities like the food van and Piskie pub are popular bonuses. While some found pitches spacious and level, others experienced issues with slopes or muddy conditions, particularly after rain. Noise from other guests and dogs was a concern for some during peak times. The swimming pool requires booking and can be shallow. Improvements in shower temperature consistency and Wi-Fi availability/cost were noted.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (premium)

Liked Terraced, good sized pitches. Good facilities such as shop, launderette, outdoor pool and the tiny quaint pub the Piskie Inn.
Lovely rural setting with fishing lakes and easy walk to estuary and low tide bridge into Newquay.
Generous wash facilities in excellent clean working order.
Regular local bus stops at the site giving easy access to Newquay, Crantock and other villages.

Disliked The washroom taps were very fierce and tend splash out of the sinks and over you and the floor.
Camping is an outdoor activity, so a small quantity of the outdoors will inevitably end up in your van or tent. Here, outdoor debris is annoying tiny stones that you will be constantly sweeping out.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (premium)

Liked The lady at reception on arrival was very friendly.
We stayed on a fully serviced hard standing pitch which was level, well looked after and a good size. Really nice campsite within half an hour walk to crantock beach. The piski bar is a warm and cosy place to have a drink and was made to feel very welcome by John and Jane. Excellent choice of drinks and are reasonably priced. Dogs are allowed in the bar.
A shop on site which has everything you could need.
Facillites are very clean.
Definitely will stay there again.

Local attractions

A quick meander along the verdant country lanes and pathways around Trevella can lead in various directions: a historic smugglers’ inn, a beach, Crantock’s thatched cottages and pretty village church, or to the Gannel estuary to fish, paddle, birdwatch or make the short hop on the ferry to Newquay. The latter probably needs no introduction, but on top of its famous beaches, it has a zoo, aquarium, farm park, boating lake and miniature railway – plus swimming pools (with flumes) and golf courses. This being Cornwall, visitors will find no shortage of ace attractions less than an hour away. Recommendations include losing oneself in the gardens at Heligan, taking in an atmospheric show at the open-air Minack Theatre, on the cliffs overlooking the sea; heading into the Eden Project’s massive crater, to examine the exotic flora in the jaw-dropping megadomes; and some painterly perusal at the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Then there are adventure parks, National Trust properties and open gardens galore; plus a lively programme of local land- and sea-based events, from festivals to carnivals, and regattas to traditional Cornish gig racing.
