What customers say
A clean, well-kept site with friendly staff. Guests loved the great facilities, roomy spots, and handy location for Newquay/beaches. The Piskie Inn & food van are hits. Downsides: muddy spots after rain, iffy shower temps, costly Wi-Fi. Mostly quiet, but some noted occasional noise.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (premium)
Liked Große gepflegtes Stellplätze mit direktem Wasser/ Abwasserplatz und Strom.
Disliked Die Duschen konnten leider nicht reguliert werden so dass nur sehr heißes Wasser kam. Man hat sich fast verfrüht.

Liked There is a heated pool and large showers in the laundry room. The showers and toilets are very clean. There is also a lovely fishing lake, There were plenty of water stations, which were well located around the course.
Disliked I wasn't allowed to use the small pop-out tent for storage. I was required to buy another pitch. Other people were allowed to park two camper vans on one pitch.
The grass was cut on Sunday and Monday. The noise was so loud and unpleasant that it was difficult to relax or have a conversation with family members. Not to mention the cut grass that ended up everywhere, including on the shower walls. Despite asking the gentleman not to cut too close to us, there was wet grass all over our tent. The shower block close to our pitch was closed, so we had to use one that was quite a distance away. We were told that it's not peak season yet. If the park is open fully from April, I would expect everything to be open, especially over the May bank holiday weekend. Walking up the hill to do the dishes was difficult for disabled people and unpleasant for children who had to walk far in the dark to use the toilet at night.

Enjoyed our time overall and would consider coming back in the future

Liked Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the holiday park. It was clean and well-kept, and the location is really great – very close to the sea and the nearby village, which made everything easily accessible. There’s also a well-stocked shop on site, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Disliked the cabin we rented could have been cleaner and had a slightly unusual smell. We also experienced some issues with the electricity – using a mini fridge or other electrical devices caused power cuts that affected multiple cabins, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, although there was a heater in the cabin, it didn’t seem to work at all and was never warm. As the weather over the weekend was quite rainy, the cabin felt damp, and it was difficult to dry wet shoes and clothes.

Clean and well equipped site especially for families

Disliked Too big. Staff at desk not that friendly and forgot to tell us that the shower/ toilet block near us was closed. Our pitch was as far away from working shower as it could be. Showers took ages to run warm and you had to press the button to keep water running about a very 20 seconds. Not great when you are washing your hair.

Great site not far from the amazing Crantock Beach and Newquay.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Good pitches. We used grass electric this time but have used hard standing before. The hard standing ones now have newer nicer gravel on them.
The toilets and washing facilities were always clean and there is plenty of them.
The small Pisky Inn pub onsite is great.
Bus stop by main entrance gives regular access to Newquay.
Looks like plenty of play areas for kids, plus outdoor swimming pool and fishing lake.
Disliked Not much to dislike.
The water pressure on all the washroom taps is very "fierce" & splashes out of the sinks soaking you.
Washrooms and toilets need more hooks.
