General

  • Peaceful park with spectacular sea and countryside views
  • A mile from Boscastle
  • A short distance from the South West Coast Path

Spectacular sunsets, smashing views, spying seals and all a mere mile from Boscastle... things sound tre-mendous at north Cornwall's Trebyla Farm. It's on the north Cornish coast (also tre-mendous) and within easy walking distance of seeing the marine mammals, birds of prey and other wildlife around the splendid South West Coast Path.

Plenty of other walks surround this peaceful place, including a mile-long meander to the several pubs, restaurants and shops of Boscastle, but if you want to travel by wheels a bus stop is just outside the farm entrance.

Guests have access to a spacious wetroom on site and there's a washing-up area and facilities for ice pack freezing.

For supplies, travel ten or 15 minutes from Trebyla to a newly open farm shop selling fresh local produce as well as dishing up sizeable cooked breakfasts.

Please note

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Under 21s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Camping as it should be - nice and simple - essential facilities and a field in a nice part of the world.

There is a rating for Facilities / Acitivities out of 5. I've given it 5. Facilities are basic and all you need. Activities - it's a field - make your own entertainment or bring a fisbee.

    Hi everyone
This campsite is a little gem! We've just spent four nights here in our caravan. From when we arrived we found the couple who own it to be very friendly and helpful. We chose our own pitch, a nice level site in the top field. The facilities are not luxury but clean and adequate. This campsite is peaceful which is just what we wanted. Our dog made friends with the owners dog and had a brilliant time playing. We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet relaxing stay. Many thanks.

Views lovely. Very peaceful and rural feeling but Boscastle only 2 miles away and 5 miles from Tintagel. There was a nice walk through woods into Boscastle and we did that then caught the bus back, which stopped right outside the campsite. We had a grass pitch which was practically level

Fantastic site if you want to get away from it all with stunning coastal views.
Basic but clean toilet and shower block.
We stayed for 8 nights and couldn't fault it.
The day we were supposed to be leaving my mother had a fall on wet grass.
Julia and Derek let us stay an extra night but wouldn't take any more money.
    Customer service at it's best.
We will be frequent visitors from now on, and can't wait to go back.

Directions

We are situated on the B3263, 1 mile from the Bude side of Boscastle. From Boscastle, head north on Old Road toward New Road/B3263 and proceed for about 2 miles. Look out for our signpost on your left.

Please note that if using Sat Nav with our postcode it will take you to a small hamlet called Beeny along some very narrow lanes. Do not turn off the B3263 but continue down towards Boscastle for approximately 1/4 mile. The campsite is on the right-hand side.

Local attractions

One of the most famed things about Boscastle, just down the road from Trebyla Farm, is its Museum of Witchcraft, immortalised by we Pitchup.commers as one of our faves in all the land.

The village should keep you going for a bit after a dip into the witchcraft museum, even if you just sit and stare at its scenic harbour from one of its two stone walls... If you fancy delving into a bit more history, the National Trust has a visitor centre in Boscastle's Old Smithy (and if not, there are a few interesting little shops around).

The South West Coast Path is accessed from here – we recommend the walk to Arthurian Tintagel – and those who want to stay active will find horse riding, fishing and golfing opps in the area too.

This is of course surfing country as well, or you could stick to exploring the rockpools among the many sandy beaches around this part of coast.

Must see

  • Tintagel Castle (4.7 miles)
  • Rock Beach (15.4 miles)
  • Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park (18.5 miles)

National Trust

  • Tintagel Old Post Office (4.5 miles)
  • Lawrence House (13.9 miles)
