Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Really enjoyed my short stay at Warminghurst Camping - my only regret is not being agle to stay for more than one night!
Being a solo camper I have specific things that I look for in a site, and I thought the description for this site was really clear and gets across what to expect, which is just what I was looking for.
It is a quiet site, away from road noise. It is really well spaced out with pitches somewhat mown into field, allowing for a secluded feel without being isolated. It felt really peaceful.
There are good, clean facilities with two gas-powered showers, a flushing loo and a compost loo plus a couple of washing up stations (one with drinking water, not sure about the other as didn't visit). These are located around the small site.
Chris was really welcoming and helpful, good to know he was around although he left the campers to it.
There is a ~1km easy walk to the local pub, and similar short walk to the decomissioned grade 1-listed Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is worth a look.

From the manager: Thanks for your generous review. The nearby church of the Holy Sepulchre, Warminghurst is actually still a consecrated space although sadly no regular services are now held there. Campers are welcome to visit and to sign their names in the visitors book.
Everything you need from a small campsite.

Liked Nice peaceful small campsite. Bit of a rave going on nearby, but even that finished at a respectable time!

From the manager: Thanks for the review, I'm sorry your visit coincided with a rather noisy neighbouring event beyond my control. The site is normally peaceful.
