Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: The field was fine. You can park anywhere and it was not busy.

Disliked: The toilet block was old and outdated.
My personal dislike is the unisex toilets. I know that some people don’t mind, but I would not have chosen this site had I known.
The showers were also unisex and the cubicle was minute. It was very difficult to dry and change and because they were unisex I could not get changed outside of the cubicle.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: It states we have unisex toilets and this is always been a thing here and clearly says that . The scare row bangers by surrounding gas we can't controll as we are surrounded by multiple farmers fields

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Flat pitches, quiet location, secure with a gate, toilet & shower facilities basic but clean.

Disliked: Neighboring farms had a bird scarer in fields which scared our dogs.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: This is told to everyone about the bangs in the field sadly this is out of our controll and is the farmers but thank you for review

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Friendly staff
Good facilities

Disliked: Lound banging noises from the field next too campsite unfortunately not the campsite fault but maybe should have mentioned it as really upset my dog

Lots of rundown seasonal pitches with caravan on felt a bit like a workers site with lots of men on.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: That's the farmers and is beyond our controll been surrounded by three farmers fields we apologise and the males on site are workmen doing the local road and are no problems what so ever and are all checked and I'd by us through there company . Sorry for this

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: Good value-for-money, EHU was just £2.50 a night. Plenty of room between pitches. Locally there are decent places to visit (Bosham, Fishborne, Chichester, Church Norton, Selsey, Pagham). Kettles, fridge, freezer and microwave available. Children's play area too.

Disliked: Local pub (Royal Oak) was closed! It's best not to walk there (when open, obviously) as the road is single carriageway and quite narrow. Wi-fi is a pay-service.

Electric grass touring pitch

Liked: Good clean facilities and nice and quiet location. Not too far from Bognor Regis but wouldn't recommend cycling it or walking as the road nearby is narrow and quite fast. Gone central location through for trips to Chichester, Portsmouth and slightly further afield. Would stay again if in the area.

Local attractions

Folks who like a bit of horsey action can either saddle up for a ride at the stables a few minutes away in Hunston. Grab your bucket, your board or your binoculars if you’re heading beachwards – there are family-friendly sandy stretches at Climping and West Wittering (20 minutes away), surf swells at East Wittering (20 minutes) and an RSPB nature reserve 10 minutes away at Pagham Harbour. Or you may like to head into Bognor Regis, 10 minutes away, for classic seaside attractions including an 18-hole miniature golf course, a boating lake and a miniature railway. History buffs may also like to fill their days seeing the restored houses and rural crafts at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, wandering around Fishbourne Roman Palace or watching seasonal jousting tournaments at medieval Arundel Castle; all are less than half an hour away by car.
