Run – don't walk – to Aldingbourne Trust, a charity-run site on the southern edge of South Downs National Park… This family-friendly location has lots for all ages, with all overnight guests being granted free access (from 2pm on the day of arrival to the end of the stay) to the open farm, the Cherry Tree roleplay village, soft play rooms, a water play area, a maze, miniature golf and woodland walks. As if that isn't enough already, the team arranges tractor rides and summer events on select dates. When you're hungry, make your way over to the on-site Quarry Café for a freshly cooked breakfast, homemade lunch, snack, coffee or a delicious cake. The outdoor veranda seating area is a splendid spot to unwind after a day of activities. Aldingbourne Trust is an award-winning local charity that helps people with learning disabilities and autism to live independent lives, so this is also a meaningful getaway. Adults with learning disabilities or autism are actively involved in everything they do. The site is on the edge of the small village of Norton, about a quarter of an hour’s drive from Chichester, where there’s an abundance of attractions, shops and places to eat. The West Sussex coast is also easy to reach: Bognor Regis is about 20 minutes away by road.

Dating from the early 17th century, Goodwood House (10 minutes’ drive) is distinctive for its four round turrets topped by cupolas. Its renowned art collection includes landscapes by Venetian artist Canaletto. Also on site is Goodwood Motor Circuit, which holds events such as the Festival of Speed (July) and the vintage-style Goodwood Revival (September). After checking out the colourful window by Marc Chagall in medieval Chichester Cathedral (15 minutes), take a relaxing stroll through Bishop’s Palace Garden, or head to the Pallant House Gallery, which has a cracking collection of contemporary British art, with works from the likes of Barbara Hepworth and Rachel Whiteread. Liked We loved staying here. You had access to all the play activities when the park was closed so soft play was endless fun. I loved that all the activities were under covers so if it rained the fun didn't stop. It was fully inclusive for all. Would recommend for babies - 8 years old children. The knights activity in the woodland walk was so much fun and so well thought out for the children. Facilities well kept and hot showers. Short walk to your car. Life made easy here. Electric hook up provided for you also. Added bonus. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. 15/16 pitches with ample middle space for play and games. BBQ bases.

Liked Lovely small campsite. Regular checks from Mark the campsite manager were great and he was so helpful.
They provide additional extras such as electric hook up cables, trolleys for transporting luggage, washing up bowls, fire pits with grates.
The use of facilities after hours was brilliant too.

Liked Amazing campsite for children. Very family friendly with lots of fun activities to keep children busy during the day and evening.
We were met by Mark, who was an absolute legend! He checked in on us at least twice a day, provided a wealth of knowledge and even managed to retrieve lost toys that had escaped the camping field. Looking forward to returning next year.

Liked Brilliant little campsite, mark was fantastic, checked on us in the morning and evening to make sure everything was okay!
It was brilliant that we could use the facilities after hours! Kept the children busy ! Definitely would recommend and will come back again!! X
