Well worth a visit
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (wild)
Liked I really like the relaxed vibe here and the friendly welcoming people. This is my second visit and I will go back again particularly as they are open all year
Plenty of room to pitch in a quiet location and since my last visit a bar area has been added for people to have either a tea/coffee or a drink, they had an interesting range of cider on tap. New toilets have also been added
I like the fact you can walk out the back of the site to go hiking along the Saxon Shore route for miles in peace or go into Canterbury
Disliked Nothing really but the site can be muddy but then this was November
Don't be put off by the weird and wonderful collection of vehicles , caravans and trailers as you enter the camping areas, they add to the charm

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (wild, woodland)
Liked 10/10 – Hidden gem in Kent's serene woodlands! Stunning, spacious pitches beautifully spaced for total privacy—no tent neighbors in sight. Facilities are spot-on and clean, just what a wild camper needs. Hosts? Warm, lovely souls who add that personal touch. Peaceful seclusion with campfires permitted (my top reason to book). Real wild vibes—I'll be back soon!
