What customers say
Relaxed, private woodland site. Campers love the friendly owners, peace & fire pits. Hot outdoor showers & shop are good. Mosquitoes & some noise are minor gripes. Most want to return.

Great option for couples, families, friends or going solo.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (wild)
Liked Pitch selection, great hosts, always a happy word, helpful and down to earth. Loved the woodland was aged, and beside a farm growing a field of corn 6ft high. Outside showers with hot running water, drinking water on tap for refills and deep butler sink for washing the essentials. To top it off, the little shop and bar if yoy want a change of scene or a break from the children. Bonus of it being just 15 minute drive to the beach with parking on the prominade. Wifi available in the bar area.

Liked Lovely quiet campsite. Really helpful, welcoming owners. Great location for exploring this bit of Kent and attending an event at Dreamland in Margate.
Disliked Parking was a bit tricky when I arrived back at the site late on the Friday evening.

Great value. Lovely setting. Excellent hosts.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (woodland, wild)
Liked This is a great campsite. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The pitches are in a nice sheltered area under conveniently spaced trees. The bar (with local draft beer!) and the shop were very welcome after a long hot cycle ride. The showers and toilets are great (but the showers could have been a little hotter). Overall, it's a great campsite and excellent value for money.
Disliked Watch out for mosquitos near the river! Come prepared with clothes that cover your whole body and some insect repellent. This is not a criticism of the campsite - just something to watch out for.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch (woodland, wild)
Liked Owner very kind, trusting and accommodating. The woods are full of wildlife, birds , frogs and swings dotted around
Disliked When we were there there was a field next to the campsite with crops being sprayed. Shop could be better stocked
