What a lovely little campsite! Our stay was brief, a stopover on the way to Dover to catch a ferry.
Avoiding the M20 traffic jams at peak travelling time was a real bonus - we covered the 18 miles to the port with no delays.
We'll definitely go back - lovely place, a warm welcome and free range eggs for sale! (although we didn't get to try the eggs as we had an early start in the morning)

Nice, clean, quiet little field surrounded by tall hedges. Grass neatly mown. Clean portaloo in a corner of the field. Nearby shower, toilet cabin was very clean and well stocked with loo roll, cleaning spray etc.

    Disliked:

Nearby pub was closed on Tuesday but told this may change with change of management soon. Most pitches were slightly sloped but not too bad.

We are first time campers and we loved every minute. The campsite is small and private and very well kept. Waking up to birds singing and cows mooing was just wonderful. Gorgeous surroundings and lovely people. The tent was so comfy and the facilities clean and lovely. Such a nice touch with a bottle of prosecco and marshmallows! We loved it and will be back again!

Directions

Please note there are two Sunnyside Farms on Pitchup near Canterbury. We are the one near the village of Bridge - use the site postcode for the satnav.

From the A2 heading towards Dover, take the second exit for Canterbury/Bridge. Turn right going over the A2 and follow the road to a crossroads (look for signs to the Duck Inn). Head straight across into Station Road and then take the second left, signposted Pett Bottom. Go under the old railway bridge; the site is at the next turning on the right (about 1.5 miles). If you get to the Duck Inn you have just passed the farm!

From the A2 London bound, turn off for Bridge/Bishopsbourne. Go through the village of Bridge and as you head out away from the village up the hill, turn left at the crossroads into Station Road. Take the second left, signposted Pett Bottom. Go under the old railway bridge and the site is at the next turning on the right (about 1.5 miles). If you get to the Duck Inn you have just passed the farm!
