Lovely site our pitch was a good size and close to everything. The club house and swimming pool are really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay more enjoyable. Overall we found it to be a really well kept and friendly site that is a very short drive to some lovely beaches.

    Disliked:

The only downside was that during our stay there was an issue with hot water in our showers, However there were notices and maps providing information for an alternative shower block a bit further along, so overall not too big of a problem .

We had a drug addict pitched up next to us that was squatting which put us on edge as to the safety of our 2 young children. Security managed the situation well but she should never have gotten into the site in the first place!!

    Clubhouse was clean...
The lady on reception was nice.

    Disliked:

We arrived pitched our tent, later that night we were going to the toilet to be cornered by two teenage boys asking us for a fight (we're two women under 30). Obviously we ignored them and walked off, but the juvenile theme continued throughout the holiday with music and shouting going on until 0430 one night and 2am the next night. The tent pitches are right on the walk through for everyone leaving the club which is obviously rather noisy. The club itself is clean but extortionate, £30 for 3 kids and an adult for breakfast.. I guess the price itself wouldn't be such an irritant if I hadn't seen an Iceland van doing a delivery that morning!!
The toilets had no soap, you can't regulate the showers so it's either scalding or a baby wipe job.
The arcade is tiny, the ticket exchange options are awful too. The shop is relatively well stocked but we ate out most of the time so didn't need much.
Our children are all under 11 and I wouldn't recommend for anybody with young children. It's not a family site by any stretch of the imagination!
If you want to party and bellow like a caveman at 3am this is the site for you!

Our 1st time having an electric point with out tent was a fantastic upgrade! Spaces provided was perfect as everybody had enough space for cars and seating outside tents. Toilets/showers were clean and close by as well as the water point. Close to a nice quiet beach and shops, we walked it in 30 mins.

    Disliked:

No joke! The shower is red hot hot hot!

Friendly campsite in a great location. Spacious pitch. All the necessary facilities in the bathroom block, all though it was a little dark and dank in there. Decent priced breakfast in the restaurant, but 9am was quite a late opening time - maybe 8am would be better? Glorious sunshine :)

    Disliked:

Hard to access on foot - I walked from Birchington village with rucksack and many of the approaching roads have no pavement/footpath. As note above, bathroom block was a bit dark and could have been better maintained (but as somebody who most regularly camps at festivals, it was just nice to have access to the facilities!) Had to wait for the restaurant to open for breakfast and service seemed a little disorganised, but my food came quickly so cannot complain.
