What customers say
Camping pods are generally found to be comfortable and clean, offering a good value break. Facilities like the swimming pool and play area are popular with families. Staff are frequently praised for being friendly and helpful. However, some guests have reported issues with cleanliness in bathrooms and wash-up areas, and there are recurring comments about the small size and challenging design of the shower cubicles. Pods can also get very hot in warm weather. Some guests noted that certain arcade machines were not working.

Overall our stay was.. okay for what you pay.
Camping pod
Liked The staff at reception were lovely and ensured our pod was next to our relatives.
Kids entertainment was good.
Disliked The showers were freezing cold one of the days so we couldn't shower.
Shower and toilet block were quite dirty in general. Brown stained shower curtains
Outside tap area needed sweeping as very dirty floor with various debris
Food in the clubhouse was not great but staff were attentive.
Very limited facilities in camping pods would be useful to have a small fridge or a fan during the heat waves

Amazing break, great value, highly recommend!
Camping pod
Liked Amazing receptionist Anna who agreed our request to be on a quieter plot and close to the toilets.
Great for my 5 year old granddaughter, as she made lots of friends and enjoyed the children’s entertainment and swimming.
Comfortable pod and such lovely families, like a little pod community! Beaches nearby were great, but West Bay does have a lot of smelly seaweed, but once past that, we had a great time paddling and crabbing. We’ll certainly be back.
Disliked Double bed was made up, as we requested bedding for£15, but bunk beds were unmade.
Do take a fan if sunny.

Camping pod
Liked Really enjoyed our stay with my wife and 2 year old for a week in one of the pods, we were located near the open area where communal bbq / seating was, which was nice for our little one to run around and play with other children, he had a blast and made many friends.
As we were staying a week I took a small fridge and some camping gear for cooking etc, and a fan.
The staff were friendly and helpful. All experiences were positive.
Swimming was easily booked, so over the week we went over 4 times.
Great location if you drive as plenty nearby to do.
Great memories were made here. So I will definitely be returning.

Lovely pods and site just let down by the showers
Camping pod
Liked All the staff from reception, to shop staff and cleaners were so lovely, helpful and friendly - felt immediately welcomed from speaking on the phone before hand to arriving for our holiday.
The pod was lovely, clean, well laid out and the beds were comfortable (1 pillow per person, bed sheets and a duvet provided)
There was 4 chairs and a table, small side kallax unit and all the plugs had USB charging ports. Dustpan and brush was provided and a small clothes airer which was very handy for towels.
(We didn’t get a chance to use the facilities like pool/bar as we were visiting family locally but they all looked fine from a distance)
The area all round the pods was well maintained and they were super close to the shower/toilet block which was secured with a key.
There was a communal bbq area for the pods
There was parking close to the pods specifically for people staying in the pods.
Disliked We went when the temps were through the roof and the pods were unbearably hot - we took a fan which meant we could at least circulate the air but this may be something that could possibly be provided as it was exceptionally hot inside them - not really their fault it just is what it is but worth bearing in mind of travelling in the heat!
The showers are dreadful!
Firstly, I’m not even that tall (5ft 7) and I couldn’t fit under the shower head, the space was so small it was near on impossible to get changed in there I had to wrap in a towel and go back to the pod because everything fell into the huge puddle of water that accumulates, there was a grubby shower curtain trying to help stop the puddle forming but ultimately it’s just bad design and no effective drainage. Even if a squeegee was provided so you could drag the water to the drainage it might be a little better but generally it needs addressing. The water was scalding hot - if I had a small child I have no idea how I would have washed them in there because it was unbearably hot. The water stays on for about 10 seconds if you’re lucky!
Just really let the place down because the toilets etc were clean and well maintained - the showers really let it down and when the weather was so hot there was no way I was skipping one.

Liked Everything was close by within six minutes by car
Disliked The amount of ant infestation in these pods is incredible! It would help if they've supplied a fridge! We got infestated by ants before we even took any food into the pod. Also there are a few disgruntled residents making issues for newbies..

Absolutely fab place. Clean, tidy, well equipped, friendly place!
Camping pod
Liked Loved everything buy this site. Really lovely pod, the layout was great inside and the site was really clean considering it’s a park holiday. The staff were wonderful so helpful & friendly and the showers and toilets (for the pod users) were one of the best we’ve been to. Lovely lady cleaning them every day & also the pods inside and out. Food in the club house was great, as to be expected. Entertainment was great. The one guy we had for the weekend clearly loved his job & his audience and he was enthusiastic to say the least, we really had a great time. We loved it so much we extended out stay for an extra night. If you plan to hire the go-kart pedal car thing be prepared for a serious work 🥴 swimming pool was basic but fun is what you make it. So we loved it. Didn’t get round to the crazy gold but sure it would have been good fun! fantastic place absolutely loved it and rate in the best we’ve been too !!!
Disliked Can’t honestly think of anything we disliked. If we had to put something I’d say no equipment like a kettle in the room but having been to other holiday parks we can’t totally understand why they didn’t provide that. ( on a busy camp like that I can’t imagine how many thinks would be stolen and broken!!) and we just took our own stuff to use! And they did provide a small storage unit, airer & sheets and pillows so really can’t argue with that. So no real dislikes at all

Great newish tidy site, everything you could want in opening hours!
Camping pod
Liked The glamping pod was spotless and perfect for a couple of nights with comfy beds and power. Facilities were also v good! We liked the pool and the bar area - and proximity to Margate and surrounding area (by car).
Disliked Limited opening hours of shop and pool (9am felt too late given distance to shop/ 5pm too early!) it would have been nice to come back and enjoy the pool after a day out and about.

Beautiful, Kentish getaway - just don't eat the food there.
Camping pod
Liked The pod was fantastic, facilities clean and the staff were incredible, particularly Donna. So welcoming. It was easy to book swimming and Crazy Golf was only £3. Entertainment in the evening was great for the younger kids. The park was really quiet. The arcade was brilliant.
Disliked The food in the Club House was beyond dreadful and not worth the money at all. We ordered a stone-baked pizza, which was a thick cheap, very heavy frozen pizza, completely smothered in oregano. My husband ordered Ham, Egg and Chips, and it was just two very thin slices of anaemic looking sandwich ham and a small handful of chips - £14!! The two ladies behind the bar were run ragged looking after the kitchen, the bar, and the arcade. They were so apologetic but definitely understaffed. The food reflected that. We didn't eat there again.
