What customers say
This is a peaceful, spacious, and well-managed campsite with clean, basic facilities and a back-to-basics, eco-friendly feel. Guests particularly praised the helpful and friendly owner, Jason, the generous pitch sizes, and the beautiful natural surroundings with woodland walks. Fire pits are a popular option. While most found the site excellent, a few noted minor issues with facilities, such as water pressure or occasional lack of hot water for washing up, and some felt it was pricey.

A great spot that felt 'wild' and was well maintained.
Littlewood non-electric forest floor tent pitch (wild)
Liked The campsite was lovely with different areas to suit different tastes in camping style; we opted for the woodlands pitch which was beautiful and felt secluded whilst having the benefit of the facilities.
Jason was always on hand to support the guests and was straight to the rescue when both showers needed a gas change!
Disliked Nothing.

One of the nicest small camp sites we have visited.
The Meadow non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Well managed site, good sized pitches, spotlessly clean facilities and some good walks from the site. Great communication from Jason who was always around to provide information regarding the site and its surroundings. Felt like a proper back to basics site without having to dig your own latrines!

Lovely, basic, relaxing
The Meadow non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We liked the field where we were camping, a lovely meadow adjacent to horses and surrounded by woodlands. There was an easy woodland walk to the chapel in the woods - just about the right length for 7year old and 4 year old. The washing up facilities and toilets were totally acceptable and it was simple but perfect for a couple of nights in nature.
Disliked If you are looking for kids entertainment, it’s not that but I think that’s in the description.

The Clearing non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Wonderful campsite. Lovely setting. Just what we needed. Basic, but working facilities. Picnic benches with every pitch (in ‘the clearing’).
Disliked Dog poo left by another group in the middle of the communal area. We told the campsite owner upon departure. He was brilliant at dealing with the situation.

A lovely stay and we would come back. Thank you!
The Meadow non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked We loved the open space and lots of room that we had as two biggish families, as well as the organised layout of the three camping areas with the shower/toilets/kitchen centrally located.
The host was so friendly and helpful as well, and we loved how organised and green conscious he was.
Disliked It did take some logistics to organise our recycling at our tents (we should have brought more bin bags) but very clearly organised best the toilets.
