Guests highlight the friendly and helpful owners, the cleanliness of the portaloos, and ample space. Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The area was nice, clean toilets, with taps and soap, fire pit frames, good size of pitch, owner came around to check in us which is good to keep out strangers
Disliked Close to a busy road, however if you camp on the far side of the field its not that bad

Great back to basics camp with fires
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Great back to basics no fuss site. A short walk to the village East Meon was gorgeous. Stayed here due to its close proximity to Butsers Ancient Farm. There are only a handful of portaloos in one corner of the field and plenty of space to pitch up where you want.
Disliked It is a field, and just that. We were camping on a very hot weekend and were lucky to have picked a spot near the hedge. Midday that sun is a killer so be prepared for it as the field has minimal shaded areas.

Small camping field rather than acres…
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Small camping field rather than acres of pitches which was nice, and plenty of space.
We didn’t find the road particularly noisy.
The toilets were clean, grass mown.
Owner polite and friendly.
We heard skylarks in the morning, it was very peaceful.
Disliked Thought it a bit pricey for portaloos and an uncovered cold water taps.
Wasn’t expecting the owner to call round to check us in as we’d paid and put number plate into pitchup so I was in my pyjamas and putting my toddler to bed when they came by!
The road it is on is quite a fast road so need to take care walking/pulling out of the site.
But there is nothing to actually dislike.
