Gostou Campsite easily found, field as described with good porta loos. Lovely scenery, local to what I needed to do.

Não gostou Didn’t see any owner, anyone to give any direction as to where to pitch up, so picked a space giving the people next to us plenty of room for privacy, faced our tent entrance away to maintain theirs & our privacy. Not long after someone else pitched up next to us but left plenty of room between & space for my car. We went out & returned to that person having put up another large tent taking up the space where my car went, so the entrance of my tent opened directly into their camp where they were sat. They seemed completely oblivious to what they’d done or just didn’t care. I had to squeeze my car in the other side. I rotated my tent 180 degrees so we had some privacy. This family kept me up with shouting, kids screaming & arguing, opening & closing of the car door, smoking weed until 2am. At 2am, their dog barked & woke my daughter up & noticed that they were shining their torch directly into our tent, I sound loudly I don’t know why the light is shining in our tent & it clicked off. To be honest as it was just myself (lone female) with my young daughter in a small tent, I did not feel safe around them, I did not sleep well at all, so we packed up & left after one night. I would return but I hope I would have better neighbours/ more direction in where to pitch up. Such a shame that my daughters first experience of camping was let down by rude, ignorant people smoking weed despite being in a work van, very professional!

Gostou A very basic site, with just portaloo toilets and sinks, no showers etc, but we already knew this as we have stayed here before.
Very friendly owner as well.

Gostou relaxed site, great views and good walk locally . nice pub down road also , we are going back with friends this weekend

Não gostou people where having fires on the ground i found it a bit dangerous in the current climate

Gostou Very quiet, spacious and lovely views.
Easy to find and signposted so you can’t miss the field

Não gostou The only thing that bothered me was that people were allowed to have fire pits and I was concerned due the heatwave and kindle on the ground at the moment

We were unfortunately kept awake until 0330 by some selfish neighbours the owner did try and rectify in the morning but running on 2 hours sleep we left and unfortunately would not return

Gostou Large clean open space. No set pitches. Relaxed vibe. Good pub in East Meon village a short walk from the campsite. Good location for access to South Downs Way. Fire pits provided (though to dry to risk last weekend). Friendly. Easy booking. Inexpensive compared to others.

Não gostou Nothing really. You have to be aware that this is a pop-up campsite, so toilet and washing up facilities are not basic but adequate and there are no showers (as advertised). So long as you arrive with the right expectations, you will have a lovely stay.
