General
- Eco site in the Hampshire countryside
- Within easy reach of both London and the south coast
- Showers, toilets and clear area for play
As little environmental impact as poss is the name of the game at Hampshire's Cedar Valley: this is a simple site for those who like camping deep in countryside but who still like their comforts such as showers, toilets and wash basins.
Cedar Valley is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set deep in scenic Hampshire countryside but within easy reach of both London and the south coast. The South Downs Way is nearby for hikes.
Pitches at Cedar Valley are in a large grassy field near Bereleigh House, where you can roam the field and finding just the perfect place. There's also a designated mown area where kids can play football, fly kites and generally muck around to their little hearts' content: you might find they don't want to leaf...

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Camping at Cedar Valley
We have 2 Campsites at Cedar Valley. The Paddock and The Meadow.
The Paddock
Enter through the main entrance to Cedar Valley signposted with green Cedar Valley signs.
Drive 300m down the farm track turn right into the campsite. Go ahead and pitch around the edge of the field.

The Meadow
The Meadow is not located through the Cedar Valley entrance!
If you are coming from the A272 you need to look out for the green Meadow sign on the right about 200m before the entrance to Cedar Valley. A sharp right turn and down a little steep slope, 100m and turn right into the campsite.
From East Meon please continue 100m past the Cedar Valley entrance and turn left down a little steep slope, 100m and turn right into the campsite.
Local attractions
Get out via two wheels: several decent bike tracks are on the estate itself or you can pedal off around the area's many lanes and bike routes.
If trotting's more your thing, ask the Cedar Valley team about the pony rides available in the surrounding countryside: both experienced and amateur riders can take their pick from three-hour rides through first-class woodland, or around the area's cross-country course.
More of a foot-based wanderer? Many circular walks are mapped out in the area so you can wander off to see where your feets might take you. The South Downs Way is close by: try the walk from Petersfield to Cocking, via Nursted Copse and Harting Down.
