What customers say
This campsite offers a peaceful, spacious setting with excellent, clean facilities including hot showers and good washing-up areas. The on-site Dell cafe/bar is popular for food and drinks, particularly pizzas. While many praise the friendly staff and beautiful views, some mention occasional overcrowding and noise during busy weekends, with a few experiencing issues with availability of amenities. The site's remote location is a highlight for many, though some found pitch pricing and facilities limited at peak times.

Meadow non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (no groups)
Liked It was a very quiet campsite. The amenities were excellent. And the view from the meadow was nice.
Disliked We arrived on Sunday. The pizza restaurant and the bar were closed at 3:30. Sunday evening is not the weekend here.
The meadow is huge but at an angle. there is very little space that is even. The whole campsite is huge. We didn’t see anything but the meadow.
We couldn’t sleep because it was very windy, and there was nothing to break the wind.

Paddock non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked The Dell is a lovely place to socialise in. The pizzas are amazing and Brucie The Bis does fab coffee and bacon rolls. The site itself is lovely. Peaceful but fun with great showers and toilets. Always a great weekend.

Wonderfully clean and tidy campsite with great toilet & shower block!!
Meadow non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (no groups)
Liked Lovely clean toilet block with good showers, great washing up facilities, The Dell is fab (pre book!), great atmosphere and all round clean and well kept campsite - thank you!
Disliked We didn’t mind, but if you’re looking for a quiet campsite then it’s lovely on a Sunday night (and probably midweek), but Saturday night had big groups in The Meadow with lots of kids running round having a fab time. It was a great atmosphere but some campers moved away as it was quite loud, went on until about 21:30 and started again before 7am.
