喜欢 Lovely clean toilet block with good showers, great washing up facilities, The Dell is fab (pre book!), great atmosphere and all round clean and well kept campsite - thank you!

不喜欢 We didn’t mind, but if you’re looking for a quiet campsite then it’s lovely on a Sunday night (and probably midweek), but Saturday night had big groups in The Meadow with lots of kids running round having a fab time. It was a great atmosphere but some campers moved away as it was quite loud, went on until about 21:30 and started again before 7am.

喜欢 Absolutely fantastic spot. Brilliant place to stay for a few days or even a week. We’ve had the most fantastic weather which made everything just so much nicer. The facilities are super clean and brilliantly functional. Absolutely banging Site.

不喜欢 I didn’t like the pricing policy. At £30 a night for a campervan it’s on the slightly more pricey side without any electric but fantastic spot and good Facilities so you can get round that. But £60 for two people in a campervan. That is a lot of money without electric hook up.

喜欢 During a serious road traffic accident involving me (away from site), the campsite staff were very helpful and ensured my family were informed of the situation.
I am grateful for the support shown at what was a difficult and stressful time.

不喜欢 Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by the way the situation was handled afterwards. Following the accident, I was informed that my trailer had to be removed from the site despite the exceptional circumstances. At that point I was dealing with the aftermath of the collision, insurance arrangements and getting myself home safely.
While I understand campsites have rules and operational requirements, I felt there was a lack of compassion and flexibility. A short extension would have made a significant difference during an already stressful situation.
I would like to make clear that the campsite staff who assisted during the incident were professional and supportive. My concern relates specifically to the management decision regarding the removal of the trailer rather than the actions of the staff on site.
Based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

We were disappointed to read your comments regarding the trailer. We understood that this was a difficult time for you and made it clear that the trailer could remain on site for as long as necessary, subject only to the standard pitch fee for the occupied pitch. We were therefore surprised by your comments regarding a lack of flexibility, as our intention was to be as accommodating as possible while arrangements were made.

喜欢 Spacious pitches , pitch were ever you want sitting there watching the birds of pray flying around was a highlight

不喜欢 A separate drinking water tap would be a good idea we found when the campsite was very busy there are only two washing up sinks that also provide drinking water we camped on a very hot week and had to wait quite a while a certain times of the day just to get water

喜欢 Booking through pitchup was good. No problem with pitchup.com.
I got an email from the site with arrival information fairly promptly. Sadly I could not attend - please read on

不喜欢 Whilst I appreciate that the campsite may receive messages such as mine fairly often, a little bit of help from Cedar Valley would have been appreciated. 1 week before I was due to camp with my son, I was taken into hospital with an inflamed appendix and had surgery to have it removed. I contacted the campsite to ask to move my booking back further, or to early next year. My booking was for the last weekend of September. The response was "We cannot move you to next year as we have not released dates for 2026 yet. Camping is open until the end of the month, so if you could squeeze a visit it that would be great"
There was no follow up after I said that my booking WAS the end of the month.
It was not possible for me to drive 6 days after abdominal surgery. Some sort of hold on my booking really would have been appreciated. I did not ask for a refund. I simply hoped that due to unforseen circumstance, that my booking may have been held for another time. We were really looking forward to camping.
