What customers say
This campsite is highly praised for its beautiful, tranquil woodland setting in the heart of the New Forest. Guests love the peace and quiet, the abundance of wildlife including deer and ponies, and the spacious pitches offering privacy. Direct access to forest walks and cycling routes is a major highlight. Staff are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and welcoming. While the lack of on-site toilet and shower facilities is noted, many appreciate the back-to-nature experience. Potential visitors should be aware of potential issues with potholes and limited mobile signal.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Been twice before as open year round and it’s in nice natural surroundings. Plenty of pitches to choose from. A bit uneven due to the terrain but no problem. Good TV signal. Lovely to be right in the Forest and close to local towns & villages. Good railway line to walk/ cycle on from the site.
Disliked No O2 phone coverage at all.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good sized pitch. Short walk straight up onto the old railway which can take you all the way into Brockenhurst on a flat path
Disliked We have had a lot of rain so rather wet, but could do with a drain under the drinking water taps as nowhere for it to trail off too

Great location but feels more ‘wild camp’ than campsite.
Non-electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Location was great! Perfect spot for wildlife in the New forest.
Great price, although no facilities.
Disliked Pitches varied in size and the hard standing pitches were muddy.
Lots of caravans around that looked unused/uncared for.

Toilet scan
Non-electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Can't say there was any likes I was put in mood from the start could have been a nice day if you want for the toilet issues
Disliked Nice little toilet Scam. asked to see my toilet. Mine is a compost bagged one .. or can be used without And just use it as a bucket. Chemical..one Told this wasn't allowed. I either forfeit my Holiday or buy a chemical one for £25 which I had too buy which is a cheap bucket one with no chemicals so no different for what I could have used mine for.. we only pee in it anyway.. only stayed the night..
