Gostou Very well organised, lovely pitches, peaceful and you feel like you are really in the forest 'wild camping'. Close to a village for shops and a pub.

Não gostou Very bad mobile signal and disappointing now as the ice cream van no longer visits. They sell a limited number of ice lollies at the shop in reception, which of course isnt open after 5pm.

Gostou Fantastic site, peaceful with lots of birds and wildlife, we even heard a woodpecker and an owl flew past us while walking the dogs, had a lovely walk to Sway to the cafe sat outside with a cream tea, sat in the sun at the pub too for refreshments before heading back to the camp site, would definitely return when we are in the area.

Gostou Being in the heart of the New Forest where wild ponies roam free, an informal arrangement where you choose where you want to park your motorhome, friendly helpful staff, sound of tawny owls at night and a cuckoo in the morning, great value for money and no loud families to disturb the peaceful setting

Não gostou Nothing much, I knew they had no on site Loos but that was fine. I guess if I want to be picky then the roadside edge pulling in and out of the site could do with being repaired

Gostou We stayed for one night on electric pitch. The pitch’s to the right hand side after the bridge are very open and tight together if thats what you like to avoid road noise also. The best for feeling in the forest are the xl pitch’s and worth the extra for best location/feel.

Gostou Beautiful place very peaceful, back to nature. Great for walks and bike rides. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Easy access to to the station . Some reviews moan about poor phone signals but thats the whole point of going somewhere like this… turn them off.

Gostou We had a select pitch which was very spacious. You are enveloped by the forest and the deer were wandering around the pitches in the morning.

Não gostou Had to lift grey waste holder into chemical drop to empty. It was only 6” but these containers are heavy and awkward when full!
