Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Very chilled and tucked away site on a farm. The field was large enough that we weren’t too close to other tents.
Mark who was the site manager for our weekend was super helpful and friendly

Kez’s shepherd's hut
Liked: Massive secure interesting camping site, with mini forest with loads of natural seating and fire pits.
Took my dog Purdie, many great walks just outside the site, you can walk for miles and we did.
My Kes hut remined me of my shed but on sticks, off grid perfect if you want peace and cook food on the fire pit.
Large open plan kitchen area in the grounds, has everything you need to make a decent meal.
Disliked: Nothing and I have been to many places last year to compare.

Kez’s shepherd's hut
Liked: Me and my partner loved staying here in the Kez’s Shepherds Hut it gave us an idea of what living in the wilderness would be like and brought us closer to nature as we live in a town with minimal woodland around us. My dog Halo absolutely loved the freedom, she came face to face with a horse for the first time and they touched noses, her reaction was priceless and will remain with me for the rest of my life. We are planning on coming back in the summer with the kids and we cannot wait to experience this with them. The owners are really helpful and friendly I would recommend to anybody and everybody I know about this place. 5*

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (woodland)
Liked: Perfect location a little quirky, everyone friendly and welcoming. Out of all the sites I have ever stayed in this is by far the best.. this place is no hassle so if you need a site I could not recommend this place high enough.
Disliked: Nothing all went well.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (woodland)
Liked: Simple and well kept site in the woods for a good price. The communal area under cover was a nice surprise.
Disliked: Very little signage or pitch markings or visible staff and no site map which led to a confusing arrival.
I only received an email while on the way explaining it was a first come first served basis for pitches and just to grab one.i finally noticed that email after wandering round the site a bit confused.
Quiet time after 10.30 was not enforced.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (woodland)
Liked: This place felt so magical and fun with the woodland walk to find a pitch and the little details dotted around really added to that. Loved that I was able to have a campfire!
Disliked: The only reason I didn’t give a 5 was although it felt in the middle of nowhere there was still the background hum of main road noise with some loud motorbikes making use of the quieter roads at night.

Bell tent (two person)
Liked: Booked a bell tent with my dog. Beautifully set up in an awesome woodlands setting. Lots of little trails to find magic hideouts. Very good facilities and good options depending on what type of wild experience you wanted out of your stay. Great communally area and honesty shop. Perfect communication with owner.
Disliked: Would have been better just to have a bell tent spot to yourself..but works well if you hire them both out if more people.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch (woodland)
Liked: This is my second stay at Morelands, woodland camping.
I absolutely love the vibe her and everything it has to offer.
The communal kitchen and all the decor around the place makes it very charming.
Dan, the manager of the camp is on hand by phone to answer any questions you have. Really helpful and the place is super relaxed.
There’s an honesty shed, for things you’re likely to forget or want.
Firewood, kindle, fire lighter, gas, sweets, some kids toys like bubbles and more! Takes cash and card.
The shower and toilet in the woodlands are very nice.
The kitchen has a communal cooker - there may be gas there when you arrive if you’re lucky. But it’s not provided, it will be by chance that someone has brought it from the honesty box and left it kindly. There’s kettles, cups, a pan and other kitchen utensils. Complimentary tea and coffee, with a donations jar.
And bound to be stuff laying about that others have left in busier seasons.
Disliked: The grass pitch area offers a different vibe than the woodlands. Although you can still access the same amenities.
Woodland pitches are all under trees so there’s little to no sunshine.
Lack off instructions available to use the shower. Dan will help over phone or text but not helpful when you’re in a hurry. Maybe instructions should be left on the bathroom?
