What customers say
This is a spacious, friendly campsite with lovely South Downs views. Visitors praise the clean facilities, especially the hot showers, and the weekend pizza and breakfast van. Staff are consistently described as welcoming and helpful. While generally peaceful, some guests found the site very busy, occasionally leading to crowded facilities and noise. Some minor points include the cost of the on-site shop and the occasional need for more washing-up stations.

Level pitches with good shop and level ground
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Decent size open space. Mostly level. Little shop sells wood and any other necessities you may have forgot. Nearby wine farm is good too and easy to get an uber. Facilities are good. Pizza on week ends it’s good too
Disliked Showers are limited

Busy and popular campsite.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Great location for exploring local coastline and seaside town.
We really liked the addition of the food truck with tasty pizzas and picnic benches.
Facilities were cleaned and maintained regularly
Disliked Disliked not having an allocated pitch. The site felt overcrowded in some areas and had more of a festival vibe at times, which was not for us.

OK basic campsite but Over priced with basic facilities.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked 15 min drive from Eastbourne seafront.
Large field and you can select where you want to pitch. Catering onsite in evenings and breakfasts.
Disliked Lack of water pressure on taps. Not a vast amount of showers and toilet cubicles for a large camping site. Overpriced and small portions of catering onsite (chips were £4.50 for approx 25-30 chips!!). Overpriced pitch overall!

Fabulous site - we will definitely be back.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked We loved this site. It is a very large open green space with showers, toilets and fresh water.
Fire pits can be hired.
They also cook pizzas, garlic bread and chips to die for, have a small shop and do coffees, hot chocolates and breakfast.
Really well run and the hosts are lovely people.
Dog friendly too!
Disliked Nothing not to like!

Liked The site is well placed for Eastbourne and there are nice views of the South Downs. Pizza was great on the Saturday night.
Disliked We felt that it was very expensive and had to queue for showers and toilets. They are not allocated pitches so we had to move our van a few times as more and more people arrived and parked closer and closer to us.

Liked Have stayed a few times, such a great atmosphere ALWAYS at Bramley!
Toilets and shower blocks are kept to such a high standard.
We always treat ourselves to a pizza in the evening and a breakfast roll

Nice site but too busy for us!
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Lovely flat field with a nice view if you pitch down the far end. Food truck served nice coffee and rolls for a reasonable price. The staff at the food van were lovely. Close to Eastbourne and Lewes which are definitely worth a visit. Enough toilets and water stations in my opinion.
Disliked This site was extremely busy. So if you prefer a more peaceful stay, I'd say this isn't for you! Lots of people playing music and talking loudly after 10pm and I couldn't see any staff members telling people it's quiet time. Luckily we were right down the far end so this didn't affect us but I'd have complained if i were near those tents. I don't think there are enough showers or washing up stations for a campsite this big and the showers were very hot. The toilets are in one big block so not much privacy.

Festival vibe. Food van. Very busy.
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (wild)
Liked Festival vibe with very useful food truck for pizza and bacon baps in the morning. (Think this is just weekends and peak times). Although busy the site atmosphere was good.
Disliked No marked pitches so bit of a free for all. One of those sites where you are nervous about people driving around your tent after you have gone to bed. Very busy and not enough facilities for the number of campers. No soap in toilets. It was our most expensive site but not sure why tbh. Described as eco but no evidence of that really.
