What customers say
This spacious campsite gets kudos for friendly staff, clean facilities, and a great spot to explore the South Downs and coast. On-site faves: a pizza van and breakfast rolls. Campers love the flat, open fields for pitching anywhere. A few mentions of nearby road noise and occasional shower hiccups; some suggest upgrades.

Recommend the glamping tents at this site
Glamping bell tent
Liked Lovely campsite! Lots of space and plenty of room between the glamping tents, which are perfectly equipped for a small group and at a fair price. Well looked after showers and toilets are cleaned daily. I’d 100% recommend especially for young children to explore and have some freedom. Access is easy and there are shops nearby if you are driving. There are also lots of hiking spots which we didn’t do this time due to the young children but would definitely make time for next time.
Disliked Not being able to make a fire or coal bbq but that wasn’t the fault of the campsite, just the extreme weather we’d had this summer and timing of our trip.

Would definitely stay again despite the ablutions !!!
Primitive grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (wild)
Liked Lovely big well kept site - free to pitch where you like. Despite being really busy it was really quiet with lots of lovely friendly fellow campers. Great pizzas on Thursday evening and very handy shop. Site staff really helpful and work really hard to keep things clean. Only negative is the shower and loo blocks - these desperately need upgrading BUT these are regularly cleaned and the staff do their absolute best with very old set up and units. Appreciate this is massive investment but they are needed.

Primitive grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (wild)
Liked De place, and space, the enormous amount of ripe brambles ready for the picking, service at check-in and services provided (breakfast and dinner). There's even a miniscule shop for the true necessities.
Disliked Cleanliness was slightly below average. Espacially the toilets and showers.

Would absolutely return here without hesitation was really good here
Primitive grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite (wild)
Liked Lovely site lovely clean facilities friendly staff the ground was very level for pitching the tent
Disliked The road/track in and out was very lumpy and bumpy not great with a packed car and prices from the pizza and breakfast was overly expensive for the tiny portions and long waiting times
