What customers say
This well-run campground has spacious, level sites in a peaceful, natural setting with lovely views of the Downs. Guests consistently praise the friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities, and the convenient on-site food truck for pizza and breakfast. Campfires are allowed, and it's a great spot to explore. Minor waits for facilities during peak times and temporary washroom blocks were noted, but overall feedback is very positive, with many planning to return.

Liked Flat terrain for tents. Showers with free hot water. On-site refreshment kiosk/snack bar.
Disliked I think the toilets in portable cabins (containers) can't keep up with demand when the campsite gets crowded.

Liked Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of toilets which were always clean. Lovely hot showers.
Lucky to find a nice shady spot - its basically a big flat field but there are trees around the edges.
Nice relaxed site, rules clearly stated and great you can have campfires.
Lovely view of the Downs.
Disliked Personally I would probably avoid summer weekends in future, as there don't seem to be any restrictions on the number of campers and people can pitch anywhere.
So it did feel a little crowded and chaotic, although most campers were respectful. Only a few playing amplified music or radios.
But you may like that kind of thing - when I go camping I prefer to listen to the birds 😀
