What customers say
Stickers reckon the staff are ripper, pitches are spacious and flat, and pizza's a dead handy feed. Toilets and showers are mostly clean, but a bit basic. It's a cruisy spot for checking out the South Downs, though it can get a bit rowdy on busy weekends. Some punters reckon the showers could be hotter.

From the manager: We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay, although we’re surprised by these comments. Our campsite covers approximately 13 acres and we don’t have fixed pitches, allowing guests to choose a suitable space for their setup. All guests are asked to check in at reception, where our team provides the relevant information, and we would have been happy to help had you felt uncomfortable with your chosen area.
Vehicles must be driven slowly, and we ask guests to keep nighttime vehicle movements to a minimum. Our food wagon offers breakfast and evening pizzas, but we don’t advertise a lunchtime food service. We’re sorry these concerns weren’t raised during your stay, as it would have given us an opportunity to assist.

Unpowered grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent site (wild)
Liked Was a lovely site, lovely food in the evenings and morning. Good price.
Disliked Some quite loud people one evening that ruined it abit for us, but that's not their fault. Toilets were quite messy due to the people that were being loud on site.

Unpowered grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent site (wild)
Liked You can use as much space as you like for your tent/car.
Disliked No email about bbq restrictions for this weekend, pizza van-1.5h waiting time, a few showers for big camping site!

From the manager: Hi there, thank you for your feedback.
We did email guests about the temporary BBQ restrictions, and the information was also shared on our social media and displayed on our website at the time of booking. We’re sorry you must have missed these notices.
The pizza staff work incredibly hard and customers are advised at check-in to order early to avoid waiting times later on. The unusually long wait time was due to the increased demand for pizza because of the BBQ restrictions temporarily in place.

Unpowered grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent site (wild)
Liked A nice kept camp, great food van and very easy. Location is great for the beach too
Disliked Sadly the shower facilities weren't clean. There was rubbish all over the floor, a pack of sweets thrown all across the cubicle. It stunk of urine. Other than that, a great place

Unpowered grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent site (wild)
Liked I stayed during the school holidays and it wasn't too bad. Not overcrowded and minimal noise. I didn't stay for the weekend though as i would imagine it gets a bit rowdy.
