What customers say
This is a small, peaceful, adult-only site with beautiful views and well-maintained, spacious pitches. Guests appreciate the location, ideal for walks and exploring local towns. Road noise is a recurring mention, particularly from motorbikes, though many find it manageable. The primary facility is a portaloo, which is generally reported as clean, though some guests would prefer a traditional toilet block. Electricity hook-up, water, and waste disposal are available.

Great little site, perfect for a relaxing break
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Great little site which is quiet and next to fields. A short walk to the local pub. The site was clean and well maintained.
There is noise from the road (particularly motorbikes), however this isn’t the sites fault and is out of their control.
Hassle free arrival/check out.
Disliked As stated on the description, there is a portaloo (if you are self contained, this isn’t an issue), but it would have been better if there was a ‘proper’ toilet. (Can’t fault the portaloo though, it was clean and well stocked).

Ideally situated
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Beautiful countryside location. Easy access drive. Handy for Clitheroe.
Fresh water, waste disposal and EHU. Quiet site but close to road that weekend motor cyclists speed down noisily.
Very relaxing stopover en route to other locations.
Disliked No toilet/shower block did not inconvenience us but would be a great addition to the site.

The views, nature, ease of arrival…
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The views, nature, ease of arrival and set up, not too busy even when full, adults only, pitches fairly big, lovely local pubs and walks
Disliked The road noise sometimes is unbearable, take ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. Obvious lack of proper toilet block and showers but not needed for us as we are self sufficient
