The site is the nearest that…
Non-electric grass tent pitch (wild, woodland)
Liked The site is the nearest that I will get to wild camping. You are lead into the woods by a path and then you pick a spot to camp. I also took a tarp to put over my tent so I could sit out side the tent due to the weather. I was the only one camping in the woods that night and it was so peaceful, just Listening to the birds. The facilities are not far away, they are clean and tidy, toilets and showers, also washing up sinks. There is a stand pipe for freshwater too.
I will be returning hopefully on a regular basis during the summer.
Excellent cheap night away.

Liked Good space for tents. Great facilities. Easy access to local shops etc.
Disliked My only dislike was the fact there is no where to hang towels and clothes in the shower cubicle.

We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back
Non-electric grass tent pitch (wild, woodland)
Liked The facilities are great: the toilets, showers and washing up area are clean and well maintained.
The pitches are also great, we found a perfect spot in the wooded area and had a lovely set up. There were loads of spots to choose from!
Steve was so lovely and friendly. And delivering the firewood on his quad was great 😁
The farm animals were awesome and we really enjoyed interacting with them. FYI, chickens love apples 😂
The nature walk and kids play area were fab!! Really great for younger kids.
Disliked Nothing.

Fantastic, i wish I would've known about it when my kids were small.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (wild, woodland)
Liked The site itself was so clean. The family were very friendly. Loved the animals. Loved the woods and play area. Ideal place for you ng families or adults who want to chill.
Disliked I thought the firepit etc was a bit overpriced. The toilets and showers where quite far away in the night. Apart from that I can't fault it.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (wild, woodland)
Liked The site is family orientated. Nature walks, forests, farmland, animals, we stayed in the wooded area toilets are very clean and showers too. Have a sink area to clean up and tap for drinking water. Weather was perfect. Location good too. 5 min drive or 15/20min walk to local shop/takeaways.
Disliked Was a little noisey from midnight till 1am which was ok people was having fun otherwise had a great time.

Parts of the site being woodland…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Parts of the site being woodland was nice, and offered camping amongst the trees. Owner was friendly and welcoming. Pot washing area was good. Site location was good, and easy to find and get to. Showers were hot and worked well.
Disliked Only one tiny hand washing sink provided in the facilities so no where adequate to brush your teeth or wash your face. Shower cubicals were very small with no bench or chair and little room to get changed. Shower caddy was helpful but having only one hook on the back of the door made it a struggle to stop everything getting wet. Pitchup said you could park next to your pitch, but this is not the case, cars have to be returned to a small car park after unloading, which was difficult to negotiate as the site was very full when I visited. Probably easier at quieter times. Some areas of the site got very muddy when it rained making the quicker cut thru to the facilities messy, although paths are provided if you go the long way round. Probably would have been a better experience on a quieter weekend, but the lack of any sinks in the facilities was a deal breaker for me.
