Bowses Hill Farm

Positiv The whole set up of the farm and the camping areas itself. Great toilet and shower facilities, clean, tidy. Quiet at night, and camping neighbours were friendly and respectful. Highly recommended. My daughter loved the animals!

Positiv Amazing place the woodland area and the grass pitches. Everyone were lovely and so much to do for kids. The nature trail was really nice.

Negativ Toilets could be checked during the day as they do get very messy.

Positiv Was just a great campsite, the animals there for the kids to look at, the park and plenty of space to play.

Half hour drive to Blackpool.

Iv added budget/backpacker just because it’s a little campsite but this doesn’t take away from the campsite at all.

Positiv Everything about this site is 10 out of 10. This is a fantastic site. Booked Saturday noon for the Saturday night. Only went for 1 night as it was my 7 year old granddaughter first time camping. She loved it. We will definitely be back soon.

Positiv Everything! Such a friendly site,,, back to basics camping with the little added luxuries, we stayed on the electric pitch with our campervan, but looking round the site there is a lot of places to stay, either tenting to lodges to pods with hot tubs! Amazing little place

Positiv Location is great, next to the cana, a short walk into glasson where there are great places to enjoy a brew a buty or a meal.
A very biker friendly campsite as is glasson dock.
Great campsite for us, we have a guide dog puppy in training, the site is dog friendly and there are lots of places to walk.
The owner Ian is very friendly and was great to talk to about the area history etc.
We had x great stay.
See you again.

Positiv Very clean, my baby loved the animals, staying in the woods was brilliant. All facilities you need are available. We will be coming back.

Positiv Friendly welcome, Lots of room, clean facilities including toilets and showers, great quality pitches. The kids loved the animals, this was our first trip camping amd was a great place for our first trip! And will now be definitely coming back.

Negativ Maybe could of done with a honesty shop were you can take things like snacks and things you may of forgot and leave uour bank details to transfer to. Seen a few other places doing this was missing maybe something like that. Other than that brilliant! 🙏

Positiv Playground in the shade was very popular with the kids. Nature walk was well used too. Firepit and wood prebook. Owners were very friendly. Lots of shade.

Negativ Lack of bins around the site. Ducks were noisy all night and the dogs didn't appreciate how close the animals were. Toilets and showers are small. Horseflies were quite bad. Pump track in field next door was used by quads and motorbikes frequently which was noisy. Music from owners party was noisy all weekend. A site map would have pre-warned how close the animals were to the camping field and I dont think we would have brought the dogs. At one point someone was walking a goat around the camping field and the dogs were going mental but they carried on.
