What customers say
This campsite offers beautiful scenery and a relaxed atmosphere, with many praising the friendly staff and the opportunity to interact with farm animals. Its location is ideal for local walks and a short stroll into Sedbergh. While basic facilities are available, some guests noted a need for improvement and more washing-up areas. Despite minor drawbacks, many found it to be good value and plan to return.

From the manager: I’ve no idea what this says, but this is a customer who stopped with us twice in 2 weeks, so it makes a negative review a bit nonsense when they say they wouldn’t visit again.
Sincerely
Brian
Clean facilities, good pitches with fire pits and the best setting.

Liked Set in the most gorgeous spot. Everything you need. Lovely and peaceful. Easy walk into Sedbergh for a lovely night out. Perfect. Oh, and the goats. Loved them.
Disliked Would be good to have recycling bins as obviously folk do use lots of bottled water! Why with lovely tap water I will never understand?

Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The ease of pulling up and pitching up is incredible. Loverly friendly staff water points all over the field's toilets and now showers. Set in the hills of sedburgh the night sky is incredible on a clear night.

Most other sites have much better washing facilities.
Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Tent pitch was flat.
Quiet.
Disliked Washing facilities are inadequate for size of campsite,
There is only one sink. At least 3 are needed - one for each toilet and one for pot washing.
No soap.
No mirrors.
Shower ran cold.

From the manager: Thank you.
I won’t install a sink and mirror in each toilet because selfish campers waste time as queues build for the toilets.
There’s are 4 pot wash sinks on the site and 6 taps connected to mains water.
Regarding your shower running cold. Our water pressure is limited by mains supply. We have signs clearly obvious advising campers not to use the sink if there are people in the shower - you had clearly annoyed someone who didn’t care you got a cold shower.
A good quite night spent at the site
