Great location for visiting my Dad…
Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Great location for visiting my Dad who lives only a 10 minute walk away. Friendly site. Owners are great! Also such lovely views. Lots of lambs on site this time which my little boy enjoyed feeding. Logs can be purchased on site to use on the camp fire for when it gets cooler of an evening. Clean facilities and shower cubicles available. Reasonably priced and we plan to return many times this year.

Idyllic Simple Hideaway
Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Spacious pitch, with pre-prepared fire pit facility. Fabulous location, a nice easy walk into Town. Beautiful bsbbling river close by, amazing scenery.
A lovely quiet site, kept very neat and tidy.
Wood purchase available and delivered which was fab.
Disliked Facilities were lacking. I embrace simplicity, but one sink to be shared between, toilet users hand- washing, teeth brushes, pot washers and milk prep area for lamb feeding was not sufficient nor for hygiene reasons. Another sink on the toilet side would cure this.
Water goes cold in the shower if pot sink is used (which is sign posted) most people are kind, but if someone runs it for long, water is very cold. My friend had a completely cold shower and no-one was using the sink, not sure what went wrong there.
This site could be the perfect hideaway, for a few simple improvements.

Amazing site and already looking to return this summer.
Wood Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (groups only)
Liked Short description- One of the best campsites in the country.
We have visited this campsite multiple times, along with a lot of fellow campers it’s seems while chatting to people, and it has never disappoint. Brain and Grace (owners) are extremely friendly and happy to help with anything, including just answering questions about the farm and all the amazing animals they have on site.
The facilities are basic but always functional and always stocked with toilet paper and the sink with soap. I have never had any issues with no hot water and it can get as hot as you like.
There is a lot of farm animals around the camp or on the farm from Lambs (time of year), cows, highland cows, goats, pigs, sheep. You can feed the lambs with the owners also at certain times throughout the day.
Short walk into town and a river is just over the road, you can hear it at night when it’s quiet.
Disliked The river was not quite warm enough

Excellent site for families to enjoy the great outdoor space & animals
Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely spacious, well looked after and maintained campsite for families and groups. Love all the animals around the farm, my daughter loved feeding the lambs, really friendly and helpful staff. I like the separate fields for families and groups. Lovely location.

Loved the location- quiet country location…
Main Field non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved the location- quiet country location by a working farm yet only a short walk into Sedburgh (including a well stocked Spar). If you want a no-frills escape from civilisation and enjoy getting back to basics in the countryside I’d recommend this site. There are lots of local walks by the river or up onto the fells. We enjoyed a leisurely walk to Farfield Mill by the River (approx 6miles round trip)
Whilst the site facilities are basic, they were adequate for our needs- 3 unisex toilets, hot showers, washing up area + covered communal area with bench seating & tables. Most of the pitches are fairly level and there are several drinking water taps around the field.
Each pitch has a fire pit and logs(with kindling & firelighters) are available for purchase 6 and 8pm.
We were lucky to enjoy clear starry nights during our April visit and even cooked our evening meal over the campfire.
The icing on the cake for me was helping to feed the lambs in the morning.
Disliked I love the site as it is, but if I was to ask for one thing it would perhaps be a wooden duck board in the shower cubicle to keep feet clean whilst getting dry and dressed.
