Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Beautiful scenic setting, easy enough to find. Short walk down to he lakes or up to Cat Bells. Keswick a short drive away as well as pub up the road. You could pick your own pitch within the field, plenty of space between each tent. Owners were lovely, really helpful. Toilets and showers were clean enough. We only stayed one night so didn't have to use washing up facilities etc. Loved the option to hire log burner and buy wood. Ideal location to get away from it all.
Disliked: Nothing. Obviously no electric pitches but the setting and vibe more than made up for that, ideal for a short stay.

Liked: The owners didn’t overbook & everyone had ample space with a big walkway to get to the facilities (helpful when stumbling to the toilets weary eyed & not falling over someone’s tent)
Great location, level field, gorgeous views, modern facilities kept clean & lovely hot showers. We’ll definitely be returning
