What customers say
This is a small, immaculately clean and well-maintained campsite. Guests praise the beautiful, quiet setting, friendly and helpful owners, and outstanding facilities, particularly the individual toilet cubicles for each pitch. Its location is ideal for exploring the Lake District, with the Lake District Wildlife Park next door and good public transport links to Keswick. Wi-Fi is generally good. Minor points raised include the occasional wait for the single shower and a lack of on-site shop.

Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch
Liked We recently stayed at coalbeck in our van and with our 2 motorbikes for 5 nights. The owner is lovely had a few nice conversations with him and very welcoming. Very relaxed quiet site with spacious pitches and flawless facilities. Each pitch has its own designated toilet cubicle, there is only 1 shower however there are only 5 pitches so we never had any issue of waiting ages to have a showers etc. Also in a perfect area as lots of great hikes and views nearby. Will definitely be returning!!!
Disliked Nothing. The place is perfect

Disliked Having to walk/run across the site to the toilet block.. especially after a dodgy pie!
Believe me it’s a long way when you’re desperate!
Only the one shower to be shared with 5 other pitches..
