What customers say
A peaceful and friendly campsite with clean, well-maintained facilities and a popular on-site bar. Guests enjoyed the picturesque riverside location, level pitches, and proximity to Kendal and the Lake District. Staff were consistently praised for their helpfulness and welcoming nature. While most visitors had an excellent experience, a few noted that some facilities could benefit from updating.

Disliked Can’t really say disliked but…
Pitches very close to each other.
Electric hookup was fine but didn’t know where the water was to fill the tank up.
Toilet block very dated and quite dirty (This had been said before in other comments tbf).

From the manager: We thank you for your comments. We do have 5 fresh water standpipes at very short intervals up the side if the site. Our ladies toilet/shower block was fully refurbished to a high standard at the start of the season ,and our gents is due to be done at the end of the season., but is still in good condition. We clean our toilet shower block thoroughly daily.
