What customers say
This is a small, immaculately kept site with excellent, clean facilities. Pitches are spacious and the location is convenient for exploring the Lake District and for overnight stops, with a dog-friendly pub next door offering good food. Some guests noted road noise, though most found it not intrusive or manageable. Minor issues such as a lack of a hose at the chemical disposal point and limited toilet facilities when the site is full have been mentioned, but overall visitors highly recommend the site and intend to return.

Liked Beautifully kept site, very convenient to main roads, shower/toilets very clean - good hot water in the shower.
Barrier & access all straight forward.
Caravan electric teething problems meant we cut our stay short but will definitely be back and hopefully have chance to dine at neighbouring pub!
Disliked Nothing, there is a little road noise but that is a price to pay for convenience.

Liked Lovely sized pitches and everything was so clean & tidy .. Close to a great pub which is very dog friendly and we had meals there on both our nights. Stunning views from the site and we really enjoyed our stay.
Disliked Some road noise but we soon adjusted and it wouldn’t stop us from returning as it was probably the prettiest and cleanest site we have ever stopped on.

Great stay really enjoyed
Electric gravel touring pitch (members only)
Liked Easy access & location of the site is great for exploring the southern lakes. The booking process , precarious info & check-in was effortless.
Bathrooms are we’ll appointed & spotlessly clean as interest of the well cared for grounds.
Disliked Would prefer to arrive earlier than 3pm & depart a little later than 10am.
Could do with a hose at the chemical toilet point to swill out the toilet cassettes & disposal point too.
