What customers say
Visitors consistently praise the spectacular views, immaculate facilities, and friendly, helpful owners. The campsite offers a peaceful rural escape with well-maintained pitches and opportunities to interact with farm animals. Its location is convenient for exploring the local area. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests noted occasional noise from other campers on weekends and the limited number of toilet and shower facilities. Some pitches can also be rocky.

Orchard electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked A beautiful site on a working farm with sheep grazing in neighbouring fields.great features like a shared fire pit (away from the camping area to minimise disruption), games room, hireable hot tub and amazing views. Seemed to attract a nice family clientele and wasn't rowdy. Was well maintained. Very friendly welcome and thoughtful staff who made the extra effort to find us a pitch we were happy with.

The pitches in the orchard are lovely and private with separate sections for each pitch. The family who run the site are lovely too! Such a lovely place to stay .
Walks down to the lake etc but we didn’t stay long enough to do this, great location for lots of wainwright walks!

Pitches are well spaced out with long grass in between.
Showers were brilliant, good temperature, very clean.

Each pitch had a fire pit which was a lovely touch.

Excellent site with amazing views and friendly, helpful staff.
Orchard electric grass tent pitch
Liked The location, the facilities, the privacy of the pitches, the games room.
We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for 4 nights and had a great time (even through stormy conditions.) We loved the privacy of our pitch, the views are incredible and the facilities were nice and clean. Our boys loved the games room! We also loved that the chickens wander around freely. We would've loved to have used the hot tub but it is 18+ and also way out of our price range. We went for a swim in the lake instead 😆
