What customers say

This is a small, quiet, and immaculately kept site with spacious, level pitches. Many visitors highlight the excellent location, offering easy walking access to Seahouses and Bamburgh. A dedicated dog walking area is frequently praised. While most guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, some mention the lack of on-site toilets and showers. Overall, it is highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked A beautiful site, in a lovely peaceful spot. A perfect small number of pitches. Great sized pitches with lovely views. Very well maintained. A clear system on arrival for pitch allocation with a notice board.
Walks straight from the site down country lanes, we walked to Seahouses, Bamburgh and Beadnell. Recommend and would definitely stay again. The site was full but very quiet.

Disliked Nothing to dislike, had the perfect five nights stay.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked The site was immaculate, hard standing and grass pitches all of a good size, fully serviced. We knew there were no toilet/shower which didn’t bother us as we have it all in the caravan. Excellent location and really quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend

Fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked This site is located in the countryside, but within walking distance of both Seahouses and Banburgh. It is very clean and quiet. The pitches are large and fully serviced. This was our second visit to Westfield Paddock, but it certainly won't be our last.

Disliked Not necessarily a dislike - more a recommendation. There are no recycling bins.

For the most straightforward route from the A1, follow the B1342 through Bamburgh where it turns into the B1340. Just after the stone buildings on the left and wildlife pond on the right take the narrow road to the right signposted Shoreston. After a mile, at the small crossroads, Westfield Paddock is opposite you.

Local attractions

Stick around Seahouses for the golf club, horse riding and afternoons at the spa, or set off for sandy times on North Sunderland’s shores (all about five minutes’ drive). Wildlife-spotting boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the village, with chances to peer at puffins, seals and dolphins during the tour. Bamburgh Castle’s about the same distance from the park as Seahouses, and a beachside walking road from the site means it’s possible to reach it with a ramble of around three miles. More golf, with views across the coast, is to be had at Bamburgh Castle Golf Club (5 minutes’ drive); alternatively, continue explorations of stately structures at Dunstanburgh Castle – another beachside fortification dating back to the 14th century – and Alnwick Castle (under 25 minutes away). Alternatively, take trips to the historic Etal Estate (yet another stunning structure in the area) and take a ride on the most northerly narrow-gauge steam train in England, the Heatherslaw Light Railway (35 minutes’ drive).
