What customers say
This is a quiet, adult-only site with good-sized, level pitches and clean, warm wet room facilities. Its main draw is the excellent location for accessing York via a bus stop directly outside the entrance. The on-site cafe receives consistent praise for its food and friendly staff. Some visitors noted issues with site maintenance, particularly during wet weather, including potholed access roads and muddy conditions. A lack of visible staff or formal reception was mentioned, with self-check-in being standard.

Not for us
Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked Not much
Disliked It says that pitches cannot be allocated and this is because most campers seem to be long stay guests with gardens, fences and fairy lights. Yes the bus goes into York at the end of the driveway but the walk from the pitch to end of drive is a long way
