Those who wish to experience the attractions of the city of York while also waking up to the sight of endless green fields and dense woodland should consider staying at Willow House Caravan Park. From this peaceful, adults-only site (over 18s only), it’s a 15-minute drive to reach York Minster – that’s pretty handy, right? Even handier, though, is letting someone else do the driving into the city: you can catch a bus at the end of the drive. What’s more, you’re only a five-minute drive from Clifton Moor Retail Park, with its supermarkets, stores and entertainment options for rainy days (a multiscreen cinema and ten-pin bowling among them). But what about the site itself? In addition to two wildlife ponds – where you can stroll along looking at the ducks as they swim in and out of the bullrushes – there’s a café serving huge cooked breakfasts, sandwiches and wraps, all made with locally sourced produce. Oh, and afternoon teas with home-made cakes and other sweet treats. There is also a gift shop in the café. Your four-legged companion is a welcome guest here, and you can take them (or yourselves) for a walk through Westfield Wood nearby. Back on site, you’ll be able to use the wet room and washing-up area, as well as extra facilities near the café, which include showers and toilets (including facilities for disabled guests) plus a laundry area.

Yes, we have some development and building work going on. The drive way will be tarmacked over the off season, which is when the barrier will be replaced also. It's going to mean a closure for a week or so, so can't be done in a peak time.
There is absolutley no problem with phone signal on site - all newtworks have virtually full signal, had you have tried to contact us you would have been able to.

喜欢 Lovely peaceful location on the outskirts of York. Toilets and showers extremely clean.
York is easily assessed by hourly local bus (No. 40) which stops at the entrance to campsite or Uber - which was cheap. Farm cafe serving gorgeous food on site.
Haxby village 5 mins drive, or Uber, (unfortunately not really walkable),which has a great variety of pubs and restaurants. Can recommend Paddy Field Chinese restaurant- fantasic meal and very friendly service, and the Red Lion but next door.
