Barkers Bay fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked: We were pleased with the size of the enclosed pitch we booked - fantastic for the dogs to be able to mooch freely, though they were surprised when two alpaca heads appeared over the fence! We had a peaceful relaxing break and enjoyed being in close proximity to all the animals. Facilities were very good - clean washroom, well-equipped games room, big enclosed dog field and wonderful birdsong to wake up to.
We don't generally return to sites we've visited, preferring something new, but we're planning to return here because we loved it.
Disliked: Nothing

Barkers Bay fully-serviced grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked: Wow, what a site! We were met on arrival by the owner and taken to our pitch (Barkers, with gated access for our 3yr old) the pitch is joined onto the Llamas and sheep, and the goats on the other side. And can see the horse, Shetland pony and the donkey. We were then shown around the site and made to feel very welcome.
We met Michelle on the evening who is equally as lovely, and chatted about all the animals. You can tell how well loved they are. The morning of leaving Paul took our little out on the quad, and brought the donkey to us for a little ride around the field. Such a lovely touch and made our boys day. And mine! The games room and park are an added bonus to keep kids entertained, there's plenty of toys to chose from, a great shelf of books and a great little kitchen for making cuppas, and storing food in fridge/freezer. The bathroom was clean and provided everything you would need (obviously bring your own towels etc) I can't wait to come again and stay longer.
Well done guys on a fab site 😁
Disliked: Absolutely nothing.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
We are a little disappointed that some of your scores are a little low and would love to know what we can do to improve on them? For customer service and showers please let us know where we can improve? We show everyone onto their pitch and give them a tour of all of the facilities and normally have lovely comments about our showers and facilities.
Kind regards
Michelle

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: We only stayed at Bonners Lodge for one night, on our way to Scotland. But what a wonderful site. Our pitch was excellent, very large, and had a fence, which allowed us to let our dog off the lead. We had a very warm welcome from Paul, who showed us to the pitch, introduced us to the furry residents and then took great care in showing us the facilities, making sure we were comfortable. The owner, too, was very friendly and keen to make us feel welcome. The facilities are modern, very clean, and cater for couples, like ourselves, as well as families. There is a playground for children, a common room with a billiard table, table tennis, books and games that would make even a rainy stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were lucky and had a wonderful sunset and great views. The site is dotted with extremely skilfully created woodcarvings. Wholeheartedly recommend staying here
