Bonners Lodge

Gostou Spacious pitches with plenty of privacy, the kitchen area was ideal to cook in and has plenty of games to entertain the kids. The animals on the site were a bonus and the kids were allowed to interact with them. The owners are friendly and happy to help. The sunset and views over the hills were lovely. The site was peaceful and quite. We will definitely be back over the summer.

Gostou Spacious pitches. Site is really nicely laid out. Animals nearby (a right mixture) are really friendly and there’s lots of fantastic wood carved statues. View from our pitch was mint. It’s a great location.

Não gostou Only one shower per gender. That said it wasn’t a problem so maybe I over thought it.

Gostou Bonners lodge is fantastic I had some sad faces getting in the car to leave. The site has such a warm friendly feel. Everyone goes out of their way.. from the donkey rides to the walking the animals my children loved it. It was lovely and quiet at night. Dog exercise area is also a plus. Toilets and showers lovely and clean and really well done

Gostou We found this site on Pitchup after seeing all the great reviews. What really sold it to us was reading that the owners let kids get up close to the animals, which sounded lovely and it met our expectations.

First impressions were great—it’s a really friendly, close-knit site. You can tell a lot of people come back regularly, which is always a good sign.

The facilities have everything you need. The toilet block is really clean, and the communal area has way more than you’d expect—lots of toys, books, cooking bits, and a play park for the kids.

The pitches are a really good size, and there are a couple of enclosed ones which are perfect if you’ve got a dog.

There are also some nice walks straight from the site, and the views are amazing.

On Saturday morning between 9 and 10, we got a little tour of the farm, which was a really nice touch. We met the Shetland pony, horse, donkey, goats, sheep and alpacas. My daughter was also offered a donkey ride, which she absolutely loved.

After that, the sheep, goats and alpacas were brought into the site and walked around the pitches on leads. The kids got the chance to feed them treats and even walk them, which was a really fun experience.

We’d definitely love to come back!

Gostou Fantastic site
The owners were away when we were there and they had some friends looking after the site while they were away.
Lovely people, everyone was really friendly. Lovely area, great views and the animals were really cute.

Facilities were great.
Toilets were clean.
The site is pretty small so there isn't much of a walk to get your water or use the chemical or grey water waste.
Very quiet and peaceful.

WiFi is provided too and it was fast enough to stream Netflix etc.

Thank you to those who hosted us during our stay. We really loved meeting you, we really enjoyed our stay.

Gostou Fabulous campsite!
That good we have booked for next weekend too!
The man who met us on arrival was so helpful and friendly. We also met 2 ladies who help out and they sat chatting and were lovely.
The games room was perfect, equipped with a full kitchen, tv, pool table, football table, table tennis and everything you could possibly imagine for kids! (We didn’t have our kids with us this time and still enjoyed the lot 🤣)
The showers and toilets are immaculate and had little touches like bottles of perfume, hand creams etc.
We arrived late on the Saturday night so didn’t get to see any of the animals etc but can’t wait to come back again in the summer with the kids.

Gostou This is an absolutely fantastic site🤩.
We have already booked to come back again as we were entranced by ;the site itself, the friendliness and helpfulness of the people running the site, the beautiful countryside and of course the amazing personalities of the resident animals.
The pitches are spacious and not overlooked. The views and the countryside around are stunning and so peaceful. It is a wild life haven with deer ,red kites, curlews, hares, rabbits, thrushes to name but a few of the delights constantly around.
The facilities are spotless and thoughtfully maintained to the highest standards. We loved our enclosed pitch which was both unique and superb for our dogs but would happily have stayed on any of the pitches on this site. The picnic benches and outside furniture are a lovely touch as is the beautiful games room with all of the extra facilities in this lovely warm communal room.The showers and toilet area were always toasty warm.
We loved waking up and opening our blinds to peaceful countryside views but with that unique addition of wondering what were the alpacca boys doing this morning just at the other side of our communal fence , along with our neighbours the Pygmy goats and very original sheep, truly there was never a dull moment.
If you have not visited this campsite and you love your motorhome or caravan then you are seriously missing out on an amazing experience 🤩
